  What amuses me, these posts about a competitor have been around for a few years now.......until now the Mods have not battered an eyelid, let alone delete those threads. I wonder why they are now?

  Perhaps some one at WGT also needs to step back, take a chill pill and read what's wrong with this game in this thread too though.  Blatant advertising is never going to be right especially at certain times, and I also think some players are in a for a rude awakening going by their almost incredible expectations.  Nonetheless pretending a market place does not exist is not too sensible either, some would call it arrogance and that's on the list of faults. 

  I hope WGT ponders this and in time (v soon time) finds a way of sensibly enforcing the spirit of the law, not the sledgehammer of the letter which IMO serves no good purpose to any one.

  Perhaps this is the way to respond....by finally releasing  bunch of great courses rather than the one paltry offer over the last couple of years (excluding Par 3 and Best ofs).

  Not sure if i got this right, but mentioning another upcoming golfgame is called advertisement? I see it as news in the wonderfull world of games, where people have the free right to choose what they want to play and where its up to WGT to keep their customers by keen, sportsmanlike and fair managing themselves.

   

  The fact that this post is made, just made all people more curious whats it all about, We dont even know whats it all about, its not out yet, but for sure many of us will consider it, as they will consider many other games to play. 

  Are there will be comparisons made, any new golfgame has to prove tehmselves to be better then WGT and despite its many flaws its still one of the best available. With a bit of competition we can only hope wgt will step up and will go work on the flaws, leaving any other golfgame in its shadow.

   

  Do i think that will happen? Not really, wgt seems to become to arrogant in this, but we can hope, cant we? :-)

  WGT knew this game and others were coming, they threw us the Bandon carrot at a strategic time.

  Surely this has done the trick.

  Seriously, what have we got here , some great graphics...no one can contest that.

  Now i'm struggling !

  Anyway lets wait and see.

  AND, WELL if you do....IF you get caught..

  Like I say I think some one at this place needs to take a chill pill after looking up the phrase service industry preferable, and remembering which way round that is meant to work.

  EDIT: Like I say I think there is room for common sense spirit of law V letter of law...called common sense I think, and applicable to both sides.

  They think so, and their domestic authority provides with the power to decide on their reactions. They were tolerant when it was only talk, but they aren't any longer, with the competitor ante portas.

  As an example in comparison, imagine some people walking into Microsoft Headquaters holding up Apple banners (or reverse). Would they be accepted to stay or rather "complimented" out?

  Same thing here, and more than those people above, each of us is bound to the T&Cs and the Posting Guidelines regardless how flexible they are used.

  Of course I think that expelling any customer on the first breach after their announcement is by far too harsh - there's posting bans, temporary exclusion possible as milder reactions. If they react that harsh from one day to the other, it only signals "big fear" to me.
