  Hi fellow WGT-player.

  Allow me to suggest and introduce a humble idea for the future:

  A special hickory-option, where any player can choose to play a round of nostalgic and historic golf as it was played sixty-seventy years ago.  With wooden golfclubs in the bag, oldtime tweed-garments in the proshop and maybe two or three different Avatars of the time to choose.  Please comment the idea...!!   Stausboell - Denmark

  You can already buy a fairly old school looking Avatar (? if exactly what you want).

  Guess it would not take them long to say paint the starter clubs up, and probably charge ????????.............

  Good luck with it though, just maybe enough of a potential fast $ in it with little enough time needed to rustle up for them to consider it.

  It would be fun -- incidently, Eli Callaway, along with his revival of the early 1930's Bobby Jones golf instruction films, introduced his initial entry into the club market a set of replica woods & irons fashioned to ones used by Jones. The shafts are hickory sleaved around steel. My collector Father has a couple of sets and I have hit them and they have a singular feel and are very playable...very cool. They came out in the late 70's I think.

  Would love to see some Hickory sticks on here, but having trouble getting even persimmon woods so I am not too hopeful.  There are a few companies that make replicas that look oh so sweet and being a small market would I'm sure relish the exposure..... <cough, cough>

  I got myself the L10 Starter Plus complete set in Gold color and love them more than any other set I have. The performance of the clubs is about a Hickery shafted set. WGT could just offer the L10 stater Plus clubs in a Hickory Replica version with the same stats and they'd be prime.

  After looking at the stats for those clubs I could see that, as long as they get the sound of the woods right as well.   I would like to see a slightly more precise putter though, preferably with a different set of scales.  Even the 20, 40, ....  of the Manta would be good IMO.

        Yes. Yes. Yes. Dig it up. Say it and Listen to yourself. Starters are in the immediate future for more than a few that started long ago.

             Get some and remind you and yours that They matter more than what you're doin' on this clickinshitgame.
