I am a member of Mountaineer Country CLub and we have just started playing tourneys against other clubs. At this point we are doing stroke play..match play would be cool as well. Basically, the format we have chosen is as follows.
1. Each Country Club would provide an equal number of players for the tourney. (Club A would have 8 players and Club B would also have 8 players for example) The roster would be established by the point person for that country club. Via corresponding with other clubs point person, we would establish pairings. Players would play match and submit score of both players to their own clubs point person. Total of all scores for each club would determine winner.
We have elected to use practice mode so we can select course conditions and tees so that the conditions would be the same for all players.
