  Does anyone know if WGT is still taking their rake in this format?  Does the whole amount  of payout go to the players or does wgt take their cut?

  We won't know until the event ends.

  They certainly took the 100 credits I awarded immediately from my account (which makes sense).  We'll know when the event ends and the leader board is posted.  The winner will either get $1.00 (I set it low since we really don't know what'll happen) or $.80 (assuming wgt takes the 20% kick back).

  And not wishing to take anything away from anything the bank and officer upgrades are still melting the nice floor away as fast as ever, and simply need to be sorted........

  WGTs business practices are completely unacceptable.

  Of course they will take a cut. Why change their blood-sucking ways now?

  On another note, the slope speed on the side hill shots seems to have changed.

  How you even call this a game anymore, it doesn't even meet the literal definition anymore. Let's see... Noop, nothing there.

  The only game going on here, is the financial one WGT is playing in coming up with ways, and not even subtle ways anymore of generating more revenue while not fixing anything here. I think the real game is them seeing how long the game will run before it folds in on itself.

  Reading what WGT has said that there is a purse, prize whatever in a CC Tournament, where is the purse? Free Tourney, not. I will have to pay the winner whatever. The players get to play for free and get my credits.

  

  Anyone want to venture who is behind this? Let me give you some hints:
  CC Clash
  CC Sponsored Tournaments
  and now this.

  mnshiner - Think you're completely missing the point here - Before this if I wanted to sponsor a CC comp - I would have to gift the winners something from the pro shop.

  Now anyone in the CC can set up a comp - select the levels eligible to play and what the winners will get.  Seems a great enhancement to CCs and something that has been asked for for ages.

  You can still set up a free comp as before.
