jayw4862: I agree. But, it won't ever happen. The difference between the R11's and 97 Nikes is not big enough to come out with irons "in the middle". The only thing logical would be to drop the 97's to 94/95 since they now have the 100's.
Personally I would advocate L95 and TL tier and leave them at L97 all other tiers. That way it is pressure against bagging or wait until L97. There are enough comps at L level so I can't see any pressing reason to release them earlier there - sorry.
Surely that would not over load the programming too much?? They need to do something to encourage genuine TLs to stop them just saying must be joking if hanging around that long.
Mostly it's all perception anyway, but the game loses people over it and a simple change would give people light to aim for.
You know Jimbog - if they would just open everything up once a guy hits TL, I could live with that easily. But doing so it would be nice to get easy course conditions to NOT count towards your average.
But I assume there are a lot of players like me that have my sights (yes, doing it on legitimate courses) on TL around L94/95. WGT could then just keep adding clubs to the TL level and guys would now make it a priority to get there by playing a lot and buying balls.
It is not a huge deal, but it is frustrating on the principle of it, to play a L100 legend that has better equipment. I can beat or play with most of them, but it would be nice to have the choice to play them on equal terms if one chose too.
I will continue to whine softly about it lol.
