    WillyBigg:

One of the worst changes I've seen from wgt. Totally unpredictable on pitches & punches. Why did we pay for wedges with gr8 spin when you take away all the spin. These shots NOW are in no way realistic. These shots run out forever & there is no telling where they are going to stop. Why don't you try fixing something for ONCE, instead of PI$ING your customers off.

Hey, you asked for opinions, this is the mildest way I can put it. So vem away as usual.

For the life of me I can't understand why I put all the time, credits, and note taking into proper distances for pitches and punches around greens and inside 50 yards.  At least I didn't get roped into buying one of WGT's bogus notebooks, only to now have to erase all the notes taken, and basically start all over.  The old adage that goes, "If it ain't broken, don't fix it," surely applies here, and  I should add to that  how about just  fixing all the broken things instead of screwing up what used to work just fine.

Thinking more WGT why not make the new slow meter hi spin wedges L102 as well as extortionate in price:

Clearly you do not want CCs around, and clearly you do not like genuine people playing above AM tier at most.  I think about L102 with the wedges would finally kill of those scummy genuine people you hate so  - why stick to just these little trip ups?

One more nail you will only have cheats left, and no CCs or high level genuine players at all  to get in your way - why delay anymore when that last nail is in your hands.

EDIT: The above is in large part only applicable to people like me who thought RGs were a big part of the fun.  Not played with it long enough to properly remark on other aspects.  Might be the final nail in the coffin of my RG play though, and that was a big draw for me.  It's not for others I appreciate.

Now the new barrage of e-mails is going to be complaining about long putts. Wonder what WGT's fix is going to be for that to appease those new players.

Maybe contoured  bumbers  , like they put in the gutter at the bowling alley for the Birthday party children. Quality approach shots shouldn't hold any weight concerning this situation Jim.

This is the upside and I totally agree. I just have concerns when WGT caves in like this and wonder why the devil it hasn't been that way from the start.

LoL ,  thought you knew my sarcastic humor by now... I was totally agreeing with where you were going. I guess what I'm asking is what happened to working hard at it ? The players your referencing seem to expect it to be given to them on a platter.Lengthy putt ?  Improve your approach  and/or learn to read it !  We had to ,  why shouldn't they ?   is kinda' what I meant.

Oh I got ya, Ace, and laughed at the bumpers. My sideways humor was a dig at what WGT said the reason for the change was-to make it easier for new players and that totally baffles me. Especially when you think "why all of a sudden?"

We're on the same page.  ;-)

Just been playing a few more of the rough shots and i gotta say it's absolutely awful. It's not realistic at all. It just reacts like the unrealistic bunker shots we've been complaining about since day dot.

I don't know if you know Wgt but a new game was released recently. If what you're trying to do is force your customers away then you're doing a very good job of it.

Something like this should of been spoke about months ago and you'd of been told then by the players that it's a bad idea. Just springing it on us is the wrong thing to do. Again you've screwed up and made what used to be a great product worse.

I agree 100%, high spin wedges now impart zero spin, great move!
