You should be able to change your ball at any time to any ball in your equipment, even during a round. Particularly when the ball you are using runs out (or is lost) and it is the last of that type/brand of ball during a round and you are then stuck with the starter ball for the rest of the round. Cheers

In the Rules of Golf, see -  Appendix 1, Part C, 1., c. that allows for a Local Rule:

    c. One Ball Condition

If it is desired to prohibit changing brands and models of golf balls during a stipulated round, the following condition is recommended: . . .

Before we start a game we can only 'equip' our bag with 1 make/model of ball.

Many of the game types WGT have are competitive or tournament type golf rather than casual golf.

Apex , though your answer seems popular thought it is not correct , the simple fact you can finish with a "rock" means one ball rule is not observed ...

i really wish i had a credit every one of these threads ....

You are not "stuck" , you had three choices,

    1. Buy a new sleeve of balls when you get the prompt that you are on your last of that type.
    2. FORFEIT since you do not want to buy a sleeve of that type.
    3. Continue graciously with the free one WGT gives you so to complete your important round.

There is also a fourth option. If WGT wasn't so concerned with maximising profit at the expense of player enjoyment of the game then they could be gracious enough to let your ball last till the end of a round.

That would also solve the problem of having so many bits of balls left unused in our bags. Who wants to start a round with a part used ball with no spares of that type in the bag and also not wanting to buy anymore of that particular ball.

As for the rules of golf quoted - ffs this is not real golf - its a computer game.

And have you ever seen in real golf that a players ball dissappears because he hit it too many times ??? really ??

Dont bother quoting the rules of golf here, they do not apply, .....

    This.

Just imagine the bellyaching if WGT just made you forfeit the round instead of allowing you a freebie.  Some people will never be happy.

^^^ to answer your question....this is how to `equip` your vapor balls....

go to your game client page  like below:-

Now hover your mouse under your putter and you will see `change equipment` notice....click on the `change equipment` and a new window opens like below :-

look above the cancel box and you see BALLS (red arrow) click on BALLS and all the balls you have will be highlighted...use the green arrows either side of the pics of actual balls to find the ball you want to equip.....then with your mouse drag the desired ball of your choice into the box top right next to putter....when done click on SAVE CHANGES...now your ball selection is saved and in your bag ready to tee off.

Hope that helped and answered your question

I think we should be DQ'd for running out of the same ball we tee'd off at the first with. Wouldn't take all that long for folks to finally take some responsibility for themselves.

BTW this is the 1,000,016th time this has been brought up by folks who refuse to use the search function.

This is one rule that WGT stands by without question. There are many other rules of golf that they either don't understand or they don't care about. You know what they are so I will stop here.
