I played my first round of the day, start out with 3 birdies, then a bogey, say to myself all right here ya go again. Then a par, 2 more birdies and then a HIO, my first in over 2 years. This is the reason I finish all my games, you just never know. I had not received an award of any kind in well over a year, about 4 of them popped up on that HIO. I don't care if I shoot all over par the rest of the day.

It has a way of balancing out though, next round I start out Eagle, bird, bogey, bogey, bogey, still shot 1 under. LMAO. A 4 putt is a thing of beauty. Why don't I get a new award for that? LOL.

On my old course in the UK - North Foreland in Kent, we had nice wooden benches placed around the course in memory of members who passed away. One on the 8th always tickled me as it had the script engraved on it
