100% greens in regulation award

  This dance floor award for 9 holes is not updating properly. I've hit every green the last 5 9-hole rounds and the total registered in the award has gone up by 1. Perhaps you have to hit the fairway as well as the green in regulation for it to register? Or perhaps some of the newer courses don't feed into the total?

  With no reply from WGT, I thought I'd solve the mystery myself. It looks like the 9-hole Dance Floor award for 100% greens in regulation only actually updates when you hit all the fairways as well.

  Come on Fmag's, you really did not expect WGT to know the answer did you?

  I would have helped out but sadly my accuracy is not that good!

  I have never personally followed the rewards but surely a GIR is only that, regardless of whether you found the fairway or not off the tee.

  Edit - I am not disputing your finding, just another case of a programmer having little knowledge of golf.

  It only works on front 9's, not back 9's.

  Fairway hits, Front 9s - these are very thinkable preconditions in the program.

  But in general, I've learned a long while ago that these awards are corrupted, so we might experience more surprises.

  this has been an issue for at least a few years and I do not foresee it being fixed anytime soon.

  I think the award works for some courses/conditions but not others.

  Quite a number of the awards are not working. I have reported them many times and was told everything for, the awards really don't matter, they don't count toward anything and several other ridiculous explanations

  I do agree with Icon when he says he does not foresee it being fixed anytime soon. WGT does not have a stellar record when it comes to fixing things.
