Issues with sending and receiving invites

  think about happy things folks .......if wgt could fix it they would...... the problem is they have no idea how to fix it ......so my advise is to quit playing or just deal with it and have as much fun as you can with the players that show up in your games ......remember no one is forcing you to play this silly game....

  Just wanted to post and update. We are still tracking down the exact specific of this situation so that it does not occur in the future. There has been a decrease in players reporting the problem via the bug report tool and we have received fewer emails at Support. 

  The issue may have been due to players being stuck on one server but we are not positive. I just wanted to let you know that we are making progress and really appreciate your patience. We know it is not the best experience.

  Hey guess what WGTAdmin - still is not fixed - and what it has been since December???

  Come you can fix it - I am running out of patience especially since all I hear once every week or two is please have patience....

  Because a lot of us have given up due to the lack of response to our outcry.

  it seems to come and go, played a game earlier but now no chance, nothing we try seems to work

  Just tried to put together an AS game for over 30 minutes. Everyone reboots, clears caches, switch browsers, etc. Nothing works. We finally gave up. 

  No one could see anyone elses invitations.

  This happens all the time. People are giving up. What's the use in filing more bug reports?

  WGT Admin, that's the reason you're getting less reports.

  One work around that we're using in our CC is:

  This does require you to be in contact with your friends by some other means, eg Skype, chat room, Facebook etc, but if you are, simply set up a normal "open" game, and invite "anyone". Tell your friends what you've set up, and they can search for a game with those parameters. All you have to do is keep removing "random" players, until your 3 friends are all on board.

  Slow, and cumbersome, but it does work, and until WGT get their fingers out and sort this problem, it's the only way around it that I'm aware of.

  No fckin way am I gonna go through those shenannigans to get a game organised.

  WGT need to fix it.
