Never mind get better...I'm getting worse...

  Yupps...it's true...

  I've not been playing long...but last week I could easily have kicked the birdies in...but this last few days it's like I've been putting with a cricket bat.

  I dare say it's over indulgence and I need to take some time off.

  Oh...and word of warning to new members...it might seem cool to go hammering a 9 holer so much so, you know it inside out, however, if like me you see your score plummet to 64.4 it will make life really tough for you in the long run.

  Probably not coincidence that you got promoted to tour pro back on the 20th.... I'm just sayin'.... You can expect there to be an adjustment period.... not sure what the difference is, but I'm pretty sure something changes.

  I feel your pain man.

  The exact thing happened to me during the tier tour pro era.  Just as I started shooting great again I got bumped to master.  I thought I had enough club for master and perhaps I do but I cant seem to find my groove yet.  I played for almost 2 months everyday and now I only play 2-3 times a week.   Balls arent cheap and I cant use the freebies anymore lol

  Sure wish I could understand the scoring on Blitz's...Just played two Matches in a row on St.Andrews,,,won 6 and 7 of the holes in those games...9th. hole I was inside the other players,,,and both players missed the green on 6...so no big streak going...though inside in both games,,,each opponent awarded 14,000 points to my 9,000...and i believe my streak was just as long as there's...Also had the lead goin into #9? I've witnessed so much Funk here...Can anybody explain the difference here?

  OH boy that means as much as Ive been struggling on tour pro the last month..then I have that to look forward to? Getting worse........crap....ive gotten so frustrated that i make sure I play everynight at least one game to get my consecutive day points in...but Ive noticed my birdies have almost disappeared and my pars have dropped...new stuff is expensive, I can't afford them either. Ive tweeked just about everything I can think of to help me...just playing on the "very fast greens" is interesting, I still can't get the distances without being a math major..Ive seen formulas for putting distances, but sorry ...didn't understand...duh. To hit a ball twelve yds downhill 6" against a 6mph wind and it still rolls 21 yrds...I even take off what the old 12 yds would have been....always guessing...kills me...

  you can find scoring details on blitz here.

  there are 2 main types of bonuses: 1 accuracy bonus (# of times you hit all greens in a row) and heart beat bonus (# of times you hit inside 10ft in a row).

  it's not unusual to win 6/7 holes then have 1-2 bad ones and lose due to those things. there are many other ways to reach bonus, check the Faq above for the details

  After a solid year of play,,,$$$ invested,,,,The simple truth is,,,this game is far from arbitrary,,,to many games affected by WGT. glitches,,,or funky results from shots you've played hundreds of times....25 foot level putts,,,on very fast greens,,played a a !00% coming up short by 3 feet,,,,99% of the time that shot goes past the hole,,,same w/wedges with wind at your back...I Equate WGT to the Vending Machine with no phone number on it,,,we got your money,,,now your on your own....Not an ounce of support from WGT...give me your $$$ though....A flawed site,,,and they have no balls to back up there problems....In time,,,another golf game will come along,,,and you can kiss WGT. Good-bye....Advice,,,save your money...

  Try using these calculations, I found them on the forum here and use them with every putt over 3'

  Very Slow:   Divide by .8

  Slow:           Divide by .9

  Standard:     Divide by 1

  Fast:            Divide by 1.1

  Very Fast:    Divide by 1.2

  Tournament: Divide by 1.3

  Now, what you do is divide the fraction given here for the green speed you're playing by the distance you have to the pin plus or minus the adjustment for elevation, and that's what you have to hit.

  Example: Pro's play fast green speed.  Say we have a 20 foot putt that's 3 inches uphill.  23 ft of power, but wait!  Fast greens mean putts roll 110%, so divide the 23 ft by 1.1.  for the less math abled, that's 20.9 feet.

  try it for this Oakmont #2 14 feet past hole 8 inches above hole tourny greens hit it 6 feet power it goes 34 feet total distance ..............lol
