I generally need to shoot 30 or less for my average to drop 0.01 but yesterday it dropped from 61.14 down to 61.05 over 4 rounds with scores of 31, 34, 34 and 29.........

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not but i thought i should mention it somewhere.

    Regards,

    Greg.

More than likely you have hit average saturation. What seems like higher scores are knocking out even higher scores from the ones used in calculating your average.

One way to test this is to go shoot a super high score, (not on par 3 or par 5 course) and see if your average goes up any.

Regarding the your status on your profile  +1 ;-)

If they did that, it would be like having a new course added to the game.  LOL

In my opinion Kiawah is so bad it should be removed and redone :)

I just dropped another 0.02 with a 31...... would say you're correct....i've played enough rounds to start having the higher scores removed.  thx for the input.

No prob.  Since reaching avg saturation as a TL, I am was enjoying the game even more so. (was meaning up until the current nightmare started) lol.

Never been one trying to compete for credits, but found it much less stressful knowing that even a bad score posted wouldn't make any difference.

Just as I enjoy real golf,  if I was good I'd be a pro, but since I'm not, I try to enjoy every round just because I really love the game of golf.

for me, I know I won't birdie or par every hole, so I find more fun in trying to save a hole. Recovery shots, miss the green and wedge it close etc.  That's where the fun is for me.
