Except that it's March 1 in a lot of places now - maybe they get a head start

It's really just Bandon, isn't it?

Band\on Dunes is in Oregon and isn't a US Open venue.

Chambers Bay is in Washington and is this years US Open venue, and is the first time Chambers Bay has been a US Open venue.

I think he just meant the topography of the holes, and I agree, it's similar in that it's the PNW coastal dunes, but I think we'll enjoy Chambers Bay more because it's one 18-hole course rather than the beautiful but incoherent 18 holes from four separate Bandon courses. I personally think Chambers will be the most spectacular (both to look at and to play) course on WGT when we get full access to it, excellent work from WGT.

Very scenic and similar to Brandon Dunes. Looking forward to playing it as an 18 hole course.

I fully agree ! Wonderful ! However....I am pretty sure the bit on Nicklaus was a "no big deal" putt...he could have 3-jiggled and still tied Aoki..it was a done deal, not a big deal. Also, with TV around for 50+ years, you would expect to see more great player highlights beyond the two we must endure on every restart, so as to dull the mind numbing repetition of Payne & Jack

I look forward to it as well.  Don't really like par 3's so I've only played Bandon once and will never play again.  So looking forward to the Open to see how the tour pros handle that mess!
