annoying pop-up constantly shows

  Hi,

  Maybe it is something with my settings but since yesterday I get a extremely disturbing pop-up every 2 minutes when I play (I can even claim I lost some strokes in single play tournaments because of this)

  The pop-up says "Congratulations your country club have reached (and then in a circle) level 13". There is a [Close] button and the pop-up is closed when I hit that but after two minutes the same pop-up comes again

  The CC I'm a member in says it is on level 8 when I open their homepage

  The same "issue" happens on both IE and Chrome. I have cleared all caches and restarted my desktop. What can be done to solve this bug?

  WGT is aware that this is an issue for players. We are working on resolving this for our players. I appreciate the patience in this matter.

  Thanks for the quick reply but I have a few additional questions,

  • When was WGT first made aware of this issue? (I get the impression from your reply it has been there for a while) 
  • Does WGT have an estimate of when a resolution can be deployed?

  The problem is not only that the session crashes but if you are in the middle of a swing and this pop-up shows it is devastation to press [Close] on the pop-up since this click will also affect the meter behind the dialogbox. As I wrote I have lost strokes (and potentially credits) because of this

  - Unfortunately, we do not have an estimation when this matter will be resolved. The issue popped up many months ago which we resolved. However, after the latest release more players have reported seeing the messages so our engineers are back investigating the matter. We believe it may be related to your WGT friends that are in Country Clubs and their clubs are advancing

  It is especially tedious in the alternative shot format.

  The pop will occur on average twice before each players turn.

  I first noticed it here and there a couple weeks ago but now it is literally every shot every game.

   

  I am happy to hear you are working on the issue as that is the only format I really play.

  Not only getting that pop up but now there is three blocks that stay during the whole game play, they don't go away. block one says, member increase invite more players to join your club. second block says tournaments number of tournaments allowed. third block says club XP bonus when using a pass. blocks your view to aim your shot.

  this happened to me recently (I submitted a report).  I believe I was able to clear up the problem for me (we'll see...):  

  I am not a member of a CC, but had a CC invite that I had not responded to. The inviting club stats were a match to the congrats level pop up.   After declining the invite the persistent pop up went away.  

  Not sure if this is a persistent fix for me (and other non-CC members) but maybe this might help CC members if they also have pending CC invites... they can decline with an explanation.

  Also did the same and appears to have solved the issue.

  Was suffering from the 3 permanent ghosted boxes rendering play impossible.

  Had 3 CC invites. Declined ea., then saved and restarted the round.

  I can't even finish a round. I get these prompts twice per hole. On the third or fourth hole, the game freezes.

  I am using a  new computer that is less than a month old with  8.1 windows. I give up. Give me an email when the tech unit decides to fix this bug. Bye!
