    1. Distances suck, and out loud at that.

Why is it that I hit a damn ball perfect and it goes far less than what the club states it will? I have hit a hybrid, a 190 club, and hit it perfect for 99 yards. Jesus Christ on a bicycle that is far! Then at times the same club goes well over 200, and all this wind be damned it doesn't matter what mph or direction it is blowing. Forget the fact that no matter how low I get my average/handicap I hit like a damn sissy. Let's not even get into that. Just the fact that the clubs should either go what they say they do, consistantly, or rewrite what you actually allow them to go. Drivers should say 200, 3 Woods should be 180, Hybrids should say 165, and the rest should say ??? because that is what you get.

    2. Slices and shanks.

I hit the ball perfect, on the screws, and the ball goes wide right or left no matter the adjustment or windage. Why is that? I could see if I hit it bad, or had bent my club, or even if I used the damned handle, but perfect shots? Come on and get with the program.

    3. Putting consistancy.

The ball sets at 30 feet from the cup. No break and flat as glass, yet the ball will waver and go a direction opposite of the cup. Yes I hit the ball perfect. And God forbid there is a break. Adjust as I might the ball does what it wants and I am screwed out of a Birdie many a time, and too many a time at that.

    4. Greens.

If they are slow then why is it the ball runs like a thief? I have been playing the back 9 tourney at Kiawah and it says the greens are slow, yet the ball goes much farther than it says by the way of slow. Backspin be damned here too. The ball will still roll like it is going downhill even if the green is an uphill slope. If that is slow, then I would hate to see what you all call fast.

These are just a few things that kill me in the game, and I rather not go into the rest. All I know is at times I can tee off with a putter, chip with my 3 iron, and putt with any damn club I like and still be as consistant as the game allows playing as I should with the right clubs in the right scenarios. Garbage and though I send report after report ingame it seems nothing is done about it. I could care less if this is Beta or not. Someone is getting paid to do a job, and no matter what that pay is they should do it and fix these problems. New damn courses are not what we ask for, but that is what we get in place of the problems fixed. Why do we want to play a new course with garbage bugs? Fix the problems and to hell with the new courses and clubs until you fix the problems.

And to all the jackasses who are playing fine or have little to no problems...blow off. This thread is obviously not your soundboard. You are having little to no problems and that is good, but a lot of us are and it is not due to bad playing or ignorance. I have played over 100 ranked rounds and countless practice rounds and have these same problems over and over. New clubs are not the answer and I will be damned if I pay money just to have the same garbage. The problems get fixed and I will ante up for new gear. Until then no, and I will not leave but stay and fight until the problems are fixed. There is no sense in this and something should be done.

Club distances are pretty accurate for me. However, the type of lie, whether the ball lands on a downslope or upslope, etc, will affect the distance the shot actually goes. The only club that has had bug reports for distance sent in many many times is the 7 iron.

Mis-hit or perfect hit, I agree that there's no guarantee the ball will do what you expect. I can see having unpredictability on mis-hits, as it's not drawing or fading the ball, it's a mis-hit. However, perfect strikes should have FAR less deviation on accuracy than what's there now.

Putting has been the bane of my WGT existance since they last changed it. I would like to know how a mis-hit while putting causes the ball to DEFY THE BREAK OF THE GREEN. Just had two holes in the same round where a mis-hit putt went STRAIGHT on a breaking green. How in the hell does it go straight?!?!? I can see coming off the putter off line on mis-hits, but Jesus, don't make the ball defy physics.

Agree with the greens, too. Though none of the clubs available now have anything remotely resembling good back spin, I do think fast/medium/slow greens are difficult to distinguish. I have had a few putts with minimal break not go the distance I hit them on slow greens. 15 footer, 0 overall elevation change, put the meter PAST 1/2 way on the 30 foot putter, and I end up a foot short with perfect strike. WTF?!?! Wasn't even like the green was undulating......

Damn, that was long winded!!  It is the same for all of us, and yes I do wish they would work on some things, but it is what it is, and always has been long before you arrived.

How could I forget this one?!?

    5. Swing Meter.

I'll be damned if it is my computer as has been said before by WGT and other players on this site.  For one I am a communications technician and I know how to keep a computer running as it should, and since this computer is mine then I know it is clean and running top notch. Yet for some strange reason the swing meter goes to hell in a handbasket way too often and at times the game itself will bog down, log off the playing screen and WGT says it is sorry for the problem and to logon at a later time. Yep that is my computer alright. I guess my computer is so bad it sends problems all the way back to the WGT server. Damn I have to get this fixed huh?

    6. Mathematics

WGT math is horrible. I am 410 yards away from the cup. I hit a 210 yard shot. That would mean now I am 200 yards from the cup right? Wrong. According to WGT I am now 249 yards away. So to recap using WGT math...

    410 - 210 = 249

Hole distances are always measured thru the center of the fairway - so you can not just subtract how far you hit it from the start. You need to take into effect doglegas and which side of the fairway you are on to measure after your shot.

    The hole is 410 yds.

    You hit 210 yds approx 29 deg off line;

2nd shot 249 yds roughly 24 deg off the original line of 410 yds.

    Possible?

    Cheers,

The hole in question is #12 on Kiawah.  There's no dogleg on that hole, nor is there an ability to hit 29 degrees offline from the tee and still be in the fairway.  You can pretty well aim at the flagstick off the tee, which from the Masters tee pretty much ends up being the center of the fairway.

No offense, but I should have made this clear on the onset...*clears throat*

I am only speaking about clean, perfect shots going to hell far too often. The definition of shots in this case are not only tee shots, but approaches, chips, pitches, putts, etc., etc. I am not going to b i t c h at the shots that are not perfect, since that is leaving things to chance, for lack of better terms. However, when I hit the ball from any section/spot on any course, no matter the wind or it's strength, I should have what I call a decent lie or placement upon the course when it is a perfect shot. Be it on the fairway or the green.

What I am saying above, and in previous posts, are not anomilies, and nor are they happening just to myself. I have read many posts of the same experiences, and have played a few rounds with other  players and seen these same problems. So I know these problems are not just happening to myself alone as fact, not me complaining. Besides that I am an intelligent human who has the ability to learn from my mistakes, thus I have the ability to see where I was playing wrong before and corrected the problems I have as a player. However the game has not gotten any better for me as of yet, but I am going to fight until it does.

And thank you Tibbets, the hole is question I believe to be #12 on Kiawah.
