    patrickmar:

i haven't tried that one but will give it a try on my next game. i have missed so many putts lately because of this and also noticed that in in front view of chip that dots are opposite.

The grid isn't always aligned exactly the same way from front to reverse views.  It is almost always at a different angle in each relative to the direct line between you and the hole.  Those different displays are both correct.

BTW I'm using Comodo Dragon, Win7, Flash 16.0.0.305

I'm using Win7, Comodo Dragon version 27.0.4.0 and Flash 15.0.0.152 and wgt flash quality set to "HIGH".

My Dragon and Flash are back level versions. Once I found a combination that worked, I did not update either.

Just played Olympic F9 and Merion 18 both Champ 13 greens . Putt view and chip view seemed to be the same and dots seemed accurate also. No stopwatching, just my opinion from observation.

Is WGT still messing with the dots or not? Say something WGT.

Great advice...  I have the game set on High...  Didn't think of changing to low.

The Dots are back to norm, but I have noticed the different views are more different now than before.

Don't forget too everybody....  There is a new course coming in, that's when all the gremlins come out to play until that course is Live and running....lol

tried a putt on low quality the dots have the jitters, same on medium. i run mine on high and my computer is always in high performance. here is a test to see how well your computer runs flash i scored about 63 fps on lite, med, and heavy final score was infinity.  this was in the forums in 2013.

    flash benchmark test

Something has definitely changed, my dots are almost back to normal.

I started replicating putts as per old video's 4 days ago and could see a SEVERE difference from the exact same spot, each day since I put myself in the same spot on Cong back 9 holes 10-13, this morning they are closer to old video's..

That said, front view putt mode moves ALOT faster than putt mode in reverse view, chip/pitch mode in reverse view seems the same as reverse putt view (ie slower)

I usually judge the break from behind the hole but found that the front view dots in putt mode are the most accurate for me.

If we could just get all 3 to be similar I believe the problem would be solved, assuming they make all the dots the same as front view putt mode lol

A definite improvement though and this is pleasing..

I think the most troubling thing WGT does is fail to respond in a timely manner.  People have patience, however mine is tested when you wait hours, days without any response from anyone.

They pretty much leave it up to the paying customer to find the problems and scream about them until something is done.  How many players have left in the last year ?  I am sure there will be no response to that even though it is hitting their pocket......great business plan.

    @ WGT

Whatever you guys did yesterday, don't touch it again, cause it's currently as perfect as it could probably ever be. The dots look to be the same speed as before (near enough anyway), I still vaguely remember where on the meter I should click my putts for different dot speeds and the meter is as smooth as silk. But then again, I've never really had any real issues with the meter.

I am use to using the chip (rear) view to gage putts. The rear view no longer works for me but the front view is perfect. The only problem is sometimes the front view is off center and you can not determine the line correctly. When they correct the rear view to match the front view it will be perfect.

I agree - the chip view is definitely still to slow - not a great deal - but definitely to slow.
