    jayw4862:

I will guarantee, right now, that the invite issues, green dots, and any other bug will NOT be fixed.

The green dots WILL be fixed even if I have to nail Icon's virtual nuts to his Skype profile link!!!

chipping dots have become 20-25% slower than the putting dots

Glad you confirmed what I thought I noticed last night and this morning about the putt / chip view dot movements.

Now here is another observation I also thought I noticed, the forward view of a putt the dots moved faster than the reverse/backward view. Am I just seeing things and they really aren't different speeds?

Now for the possibly the disturbing part of this, seems you are claiming changes have been ongoing through this week without anyone from WGT LETTING US KNOW they are trying to fixed this on the fly in production in the middle of player's games.

It appears not everyone is having issues with this green speed problem, however others are, and its very real. Perhaps its a specific flash player we are using, or a deviation due to where you are in the world, who can be sure, but hopefully WGT takes this seriously, and somehow revert the physics/gameplay like how it was before the last update. Just a mess mates, lol..For now its an adventure on the green, but oh well, tis what it tis Happy hitting!      KRS

Now I am really confused. Just started the wk10 18 hole (really only 9) single play at Oakmont.

I swear on green #1 the putting dots are much faster than the chip view dots, and the front view putter dots move slower than the reverse/backward putter view. I'm lineing up my chip view to be identical to the putter view and switching back and forth. Am I crazy or in the middle of another dot speed update by WGT?

Is Flash version and Browser type/version a factor in the speed of the green dots?

    Please communicate WGT.

Just played a weird round to check dots out Cabo front 9...been playing it alot and wanted feedback..

#1 6ft putt no break no feed back...#2 pitch hits flagstick, 6inch putt,,, #3 4ft straight in... #4 4ft straight in putt... #5 10ft straight in putt... #6 5ft straight in, #7 hit terrible tee shot, then pitch hits stick again for a 1ft putt and still no d@mn feedback,,

Back to my normal game on #8, 12ft putt I know has a big break but not as much as it looks like it has...read it with dots, double it, still didn't seem right, missed by almost 1/4 a grid box wide on amateur side of hole...dont know how you can say the dots are close to normal unless it is different for everyone because it isn't for me...

#9 I aimed it short left for more break, missed the green and made the long pitch shot...best 27 I didn't try to shoot ever, played better than when I do try lol

Here is how to verify that you have the same speed as before it all went ***-up:

Go to Bandon #10.  Hit and putt to this exact spot on the green.  You can get really precise by aligning the avatar with the background topography as pictured at 7.9 feet from the hole.  From the tee, this spot is short and a bit left.

Then use a stopwatch to time how long it takes the dots to move across from one end to the other.  I got 4.3 seconds and 7.9 seconds for the two labeled segments, both last December and today.

I would be interested to see a video from somebody with clearly differing results.

Edit:  Mags, I'm especially interested to see if you get the same results that I get.  When watching your streams, I'm repeatedly thinking before you putt that you're not allowing enough break - but then, of course, you almost invariably sink the putt.  I've always chalked it up to my perception, but perhaps the dots really don't move the same for everybody.

This could also have implications regarding meter speed.
