What I don't get is why the WGT programmers seemingly don't know what the correct dot speed is and how to get it back to that speed. I'm not a programmer but logic seems to say this should be a damn easy fix. What am I missing?

Time to quit until this is resolved. Unbelieveable that a site with the financial support from it members that this place has would not be ALL OVER IT. This is the first time I've looked into this thread to see what is being done and I'm not happen at the responses so far.

    Icon,

The easiest way to fix is this is to take someone like fmags or Walkoflife and after you have tried to get the dot speeds back to normal, ask them to test before you go back live.

Surely it is better to take the advice of folks who play 20 ranked a day to someone who plays 1?

I bet you get the correct green speeds back in 20 minutes that way..

    Peace,

    Liz

Still slow. No point playing until it's fixed. I can't imagine how you thought it was still ok yesterday Icon?

Still liked it better with the very fast dots.  Can't your programmers split the difference?  I wonder at the miscommunication that occurs despite obvious vehement protesting in the forums.

Game, set and match!! Bullseye...so simple.

Can i ask a (retorical) question though? Which purpose dit it serve the change of dots speed? The goal is to miss the players their putts no matter what?

Obviously the question goes to wgt staff...

    WGTicon:
I spent few hours on it and they looked good to me..... but you all are saying that they don't...

I am not one for complaining however Icon when playing on Andrews #2 i was above the hole and the dots were moving down the hill just as fast as the dot on the lever part up top-..now im no rocket scientist by any means and have been playing this game for 5 years and know the breaks somewhat well and this isn't right....I know you said they will re-visit this issue but it has gotten to the point of putting from memory and when I do chilly dip a shot and am in a new area I have to rely on the dots and they are all moving basically the same speed but not as true as they should. Thank you in advance for fixing this issue and making the game enjoyable again.

I have the same problem here. The dots are running dead slow. It is almost impossible to read the greens, and when You do, its always at the cost of very slow gameplay.

It is difficult to understand why is it WGT keep moving the goal posts for no apparent reason. Business-wise is a lose-lose situation.

As I have said during the missed ding fiasco of WGT's last update (that was later corrected), the last thing You should do in game production is to mess about with the interface. When what You see on the screen does not match the gameplay You have learned, people get annoyed and sooner or later go somewhere else.

yes . dots are slow and wrong for me for sure.

Started noticing when a few putts set off left , as if dots were moving near putter. Knew that was odd but "it happens".

Then notice it for sure on putts where all the dots along the putt are consistent . Slowly moving. 12 footers with slow movement are not hard, just need to hit right spot on meter  but some swerve & miss, so some dots must be wrong.

Good hole to check on is the Kiawah challenge hole 1.
Try approach a bit left / a bit long so you don't have one of the bad breaking putts.
Putt will break far more than it should.
