WGT PLEASE do something!!!!!

  The green dots speeds seem to be back to normal but my putts seem to break more now (I can't tell if its the dots or if its my putting thats off).  Are the green dot speeds slightly slower than normal? It would be good to know so I can adjust my putting strategy.

  Yes they are slower, difficult to adjust though as it appears some courses they are slower than others, getting harder to enjoy this

  For many of us the meter did not improve.  Different yes, improved NO !   Time to get some people's heads out of their butts.

   Just because you managed to improve some player's meters doesn't mean you improved the game.

   IMHO best thing you could do is convince the powers that be at WGT is put it back to where it was and rethink from there.

  I know WGT cares nothing about my opinion, and the best I can expect is some BS response, but maybe if enough of us voice our opinions it will soak in before everyone is gone.

  Sounds like one of the original programmers used the same memory variable for two (or more) functions. Back in olden times when memory was a precious commodity, that was sharp thinking. Not so much now.

  If that's the case, whoever went back in to reassign it had only a general idea of the original formula. That would explain the 'slow' fix.

  Never mind the Meter what about the bloody invite problem ,, my friend & I have tried to send invites 6 X each nothing comes or goes  just a load of CRAP  sort it   reason I had 5 months off because of similar issues

  Glad to here work on it is still in progress, tinkering however implies minor finishing touches to something when in this case we are talking about a pretty severe change in the game works with no reversions or improvements as of 3/4/15.

  As for a nicer meter, I have 300 mbps dl speed connection and have not generally had a problem with sticky meter here unless I have too many cpu intensive programs open. Since this update though, it has become an issue and I cannot have anything else running at all with the game client up (usually I could have many browsers open and only very cpu intensive programs would interfere with the meter).

  As for the greens, the dot speeds are not only off they are not consistently off so we cannot simply apply some formula to our normal break calculations (whether you do it in your head or by calculator doesn't matter). The only people who have a chance have the green breaks memorized and after 9 months playing here, I'm not even close to that. In other words, we can not even relearn a way to putt with the inconsistencies.

  Fully agree with all above ,green speeds inconsistent, distances from rough inconsistent,

  breaks on greens inconsistent, read break, hit , should go in ,then at death turns away, no break showing by hole. all of my friends curse as I do when we know it should drop ,and turns away to side of cup, Just a pain in rear..........

  Cheaper  balls,,,, WGT will not do it  !!! make too many $.. & why players pay 650/ 700 creds for balls when there is very little difference.distance ,spin ,  then you have to re evaluate for shot with irons ,wedges ,etc to compensate .use wgt GISD now  have used most nike. callaway .etc  waste of $

  wonder if they have someone collecting balls that you loose LOL... NO the just collect the EXTRA $$ 

   

  Time to pack it in  & go back to Tiger!!!
