they should sell every club that is available in the real world, variety sells

Now this is a good idea lol will never ever happen though

True. The retail/marketing/creativity gene is not here.

yeah, its poor, so much choice in the real world but not here, its not like i want a wedge that goes 130yd, im happy with the wedges we have,  just a bit more choice on irons, driving irons, hybrids, 3 & 5 woods.

adams golf do a great selection of driving irons, hopefully they can be produced on wgt since adams are now apart of wgt

But the driving irons that are on the market today are more like hybrids than true irons. Give me a McGregor Tourney or Power Bilt Citation 1 iron from the mid 60's or so. I had a McGregor Tourney 1 iron that I lost some how. Loved that club. The 1 iron I have now is a Beauwood that I found at a yard sale last spring for $2.00. Not as good as the Tourney was but a fairly good club.

    hi

I like the general idea but it just won't work because who will drop their 3rd wedge or 240+ 3w for it? I am not talking select few here but on a scale

i would, im only using 2 wedges at the moment and its not affecting my scores, i had a nice 60 at kiawah uneven lies during the week with only 2 wedges, if you plan your shots and play smart 2 wedges is enough.

we need more things to buy, and spend some $$$

I wouldn't want to drop my 3rd wedge (actually 4th, since the standard PW is in the iron set).  But if I could put in a good 3 hybrid and drop my 3 iron, I would do it in a second.  So if WGT would give us the option of breaking up the iron set, even if there was a small/reasonable charge for the privilege, players would take advantage.

(No different than in real world, where I quickly figured out I was better off with a 7w in the bag than a 3i.)

put some driving irons on wgt, they would be ideal for links courses and probably chambers bay too, they would be great off the tee as they will run and bounce off humps and bumps.

a driving iron would be great on the long par 3's on RSG to run the ball up to the pin up the big ridges.

they are on my wish list for wgt, they would be a fun club, they would be in my bag for olympic, RSG and St andrews

i have had another two rounds of 60 on uneven at olympic and best of famous holes so really 2 wedges is enough to score well, lets get some driving irons and mini drivers added to the pro shop to make this game even more enjoyable.

so thats some good evidence that 2 wedges is all good for wgt

I'd also love to see some dedicated 1 and 2 Irons for the extra spin to hold greens on long approach shots.  Depending on what courses you play they could be a much stronger club selection.

i dont think they would introduce 1 and 2irons with extra spin, they dont need extra spin using them from the tee or using them on links courses were you can run the ball to the green.

we need some driving irons to make this game more fun
