    Hi,

We have a CC tourney set up and was a 10c entry with 220c up front for the pot, top 10 payout, I set it up with cut offs but the start of the 4th round shows that no players have made the cut. Will this mean the tourney is abandoned or will the highest 10 scorers from previous rounds get the prizes? If abandoned what happens to the credits?

    Thanks

Our host will collect the purse.

IMHO, there's generally no reason to provide cut lines here. The best will win, and different to real tournaments, there's no advantage in cutting down the player numbers. It's not a time issue nor anything else to let all starting players make the finish. And, why exclude any fellow CC member from the fun?

Some will WD anyway if they lose all chances to contend.

Cheers for the reply Alosso, we are just trying different methods within our club tourneys, obviously some work and some don't. Found that a lot of players dont play anyway cos they know the top guys will win....until theres a proper handicap system in place then thats how its gonna be.
