    "Today, Sunday, March 8th is/was International Women's Day 2015...

This life has no existence without a strong ally in a ‘Woman’... in every single stage of life...

Hold your girls, wives, daughters, mothers & sisters a lot closer this day...

    Happy Women’s Day!

    (today & every day!)"

"Find out who you are... and 'live' on purpose..."

    TheAceFactor:

True...in the case of our boy Michael, a very short trip.

The ignorance is understandable, it's not uncommon.  It's the complete and utter lack of humor that I find most offensive.

Ignorance is not understandable nor can it be condoned. Some people would be better served keeping their thoughts to themselves, rather than saying something (or typing) that really incriminates their stupidity. Ignorance is invariably a show of a rather limited intelligence,

I have often thought Michael has tried to be witty or controversial to raise peoples eyebrows, now I am pretty sure he is a direct by-product of cavemen with little or zero self esteem. If this was a lame attempt at humor, as usual he missed the mark badly.

Not recognised or acknowledged in Thailand.

    (emphasis mine)

Alan, I agree with you...my point relates to what I've bolded in your reply...I can tolerate the ravings of a jerk who's at least funny, but not one who's dull on top of it.

But enough attention paid to dullness...I raise my glass to IWD and to all the fine ladies here.

edit:  In retrospect, I should have put it:  The ignorance is not surprising instead of The ignorance is understandable.

    Ditto...

Started in USSR  / Socialist republics.. a bit like our Mothers Day...

Now encompasses the obvious want and NEED for total equality between the sexes..
