Is there a forum for Mac users here. I am on relatively new Macbook Pro but with currently major meter issues that different browsers respond to differently. Would be good to have a separate page for Mac users .... is there such a thing ? is any1 else experiencing major meter issues ?

Am a long time WGT player & this is really first time that it has become a major drama, virtually making the game unplayable.

Don't think there is a separate page for Mac users - but maybe this can be the one!

There are really only 2 browsers that I find stable enough for WGT. I use Firefox most of the time but if that 'takes a runner' on me, I switch to Chrome. Safari is pretty hopeless.

The last 2 days have been very difficult in Firefox - for some reason, after a couple of holes, the meter goes haywire - I can usually fix it by saving the game and rebooting. This has only been an issue since the latest 'upgrade' of Flash player. Chrome uses its own version of Flash and still seems fairly stable, so I guess on this occasion, WGT are not to blame. I use an iMac but it should hold good for a Macbook as well.

I guess everyone has their opinion/results however I have been using Safari on an iMac since joining and for the most part have a decent meter.

Hi K. I see you are "friends" with Sarah91......she uses a Mac and i know she had some major issues when she first got it a few months ago.

She finally got them all sorted. I'm sure she would offer you some help or ideas.

I also play on mac with: 1. firefox and 2. safari, chrome always comes a lil late after clicking!

the magic mouse is NOT in use, its awful for this game, I use a special gamer mouse.

my meter runs smoothy and very constantly, have no probs with it.

load down the latest flash player and your lovely mac will go pretty.✅⛳️‼️💯👍

Thanks Vic - I have flash version 17.0.0.134 which is the latest I think. & I don't use the magic mouse.

Using Safari (again updated) the putting meter won't stop - just runs >>>>>>>>>>>>>,

Using Firefox (again updated) the meter is just plain jumpy making it hardly ever possible to hit a ding !

I tried Maxthon...didn't work. Guess I'll try Chrome next - sigh ...

Hi K,

I have a mid 2010 Macbook Pro. I was having meter problems too. The best solution for me so far is Maxthon 'classic'. I uninstalled my old version of Maxthon and installed the new one and could not not even get the game client to work.

It's definitely behaving better than Chrome etc for me anyway. Hope this helps.
