Getting out of deep brush

  How do you take an unplayable lie when your ball is in the deep brush ? I had to end a round today when I couldn't escape.

  There is no option to take an "unplayable" in this game.  If you are stuck you can either quit the game (as you did) or hit until maximum shots for the hole at which time you move on to the next tee.

  The WGT caddy will give you a ridiculous club if you are a long way from the hole. In that situation, it's a matter of biting the bullet - taking your most lofted wedge and hitting out to the fairway - either sideways or backwards. I haven't found a 60/70% lie yet that I couldn't get out of this way.
