I tried to copy Log In page,(below) but did not save properly so I deleted the picture of golfer on right side of page and below is the rest of page that loaded. The "Log In" section on the left side of page does not load,(nor on any other WGT page), so it is impossible to sign in with Firefox. I have had to switch to Chrome which has an even worse swing meter, but better than maxathon. I e-mailed wgt about this and cc continuous pop-ups and their reply ignored my log-in problem.

    "Mar 24, 11:09         Hello,

Thank you for contacting us at WGT. We are currently working on resolving the issue for the Country Club pop ups. We apologize for the inconvenience."

After losing my 10th ball this month,( which is probably about the same number, excluding free balls, as I lost in the previous 5.5 years), I find the frustration with all the glitches in this "beta"  begins to outweigh the enjoyment from playing the odd problem free, (only minor twitches). round.

Practising won`t overcome a meter that moves 20mph until somewhere near the center line and then jumps to 60-90mph randomly.

PS. I suppose if WGT fixed the swing meter their revenues would take a big hit -I will have purchased 8 sleeves of balls this month. If I was still able to play real golf I would not care if WGT fixes this game or not.

we are not making your meter go haywire in order to sell balls. that in itself, is crazy thought and we'd never do that.

You could post that in every thread daily but the tin foil posse will never believe you. Crazies are just part of the human condition.

Unfortunately I do not have a computer programmer background so I have asked for assistance in getting WGT working in Firefox again. As is the pattern with WGT they offer no assistance. Perhaps if they fixed the numerous problems discussed by many members in the Forums in a timely matter there would be less frustration being vented. I believe the only other companies,(still in business), who offer their customers no assistance are those in the mobile phone industry.

I have played this game long enough to notice changes in the swing meter speed, especially in the same round and the speed doubles or triples just ahead of  the center line..

I would still appreciate any intelligent suggestions on Firefox fixes.

Uninstall and then reinstall Firefox browser . Once you have done that then log in to the game . When you get the game client page book mark and stop logging in and out to the game . Since you dont have a programmer background I would also suggest that you stop tampering with the programs since you evidently dont know what you are doing .

Evidently not everyone is going to buy that especially after the last update fiasco.  It was amazing at just how fast the game was fixed and how smooth the meter was for about a good 24 hours . Just because players can tell when the meter is being manipulated doesnt make them crazy . It means that they are aware of the game play .

I noticed the meter manipulation well before the update fiasco I just didnt post a thread about it . I stopped complaining about the game because I play for free . I have never spent a penny out of pocket so now I care less . I can play with the rock and still post decent scores . At the most if I do buy a ball its the 65 credit Tour SD ball and thats it .

So yes Paul the meter is manipulated and its not your browser ,internet , or your computer either . If WGT actually told you just how much they do manipulate the game , you would not only stop spending your hard earned money but playing as well .

And to add to Lonnie's comments, a spokesperson for WGT has admitted, here in the forums, on the subject of the meter speeding up as it moves down the scale ... that it is coded to increase in speed, much like a golf swing. With all of WGT's other glitches, does anybody really think that the code always works right?

Meter spikes and meter stops, as well as other changing meter speeds have been around since I can remember, as far back as 2009.

    Thanks for your reply.

I have tried Uninstall/reinstall of Firefox again but none of  wgt pages will load  "Log In" section so I am still unable to use Firefox.

    Any other suggestions?

PS. We have 2 desktop pcs (2013 & 2015) and Firefox has same problem on both which is why I thought it was a Flash player problem.
