    HenriChinaski:

Today, early morning, third and final round of the Kiawah Championship. Was in a very good mood, in my quiet home, the birds are singing, ranked 30 in master tier (-10 & -7 on first and second round), and aiming for the top 10...

I bought a set of new balls, not too expensive but decent ones (Srixon-Z-Star l11), launch a practice, everything is ok, the game is smooth, the meter is slow, regular, I know this course like my pocket, my driver is a beast, my new irons are astonishing, I'm putting like a god, it's perfect! I will kill that thing.

5 minutes later, I'm on the second hole of the third round, I lost two of my three new balls on meter jumps, and I'm furious. Not because, pardon my french, I fucked up, but because the WGT meter fucked me for good. Finished the round at +1 (yes +1, a meter nightmare).

And this how, folks, WGT tried to spoil my birthday. Thankfully I ate lasagna. Have a nice day.

WTF is a frenchman eating lasagna?????

With all the great french food and you choose lasagne on your birthday.....pffffft.

A very good friend of mine (a Parisian) said he was not considered very french.....because he drove a Volvo (we will not get into that lol) but he once ran out of gas and when the police arrive he kicked the car and said - foreign crap.......

Speaking of food though - the only time I would choose lasagna over French food is if I was in Angliers, a small town in western France not too far from La Rochelle. Here I had my worst meal ever - at the Chevaux Blanc - a group of us ordered different meats only to get the same chewy revolting meat. Lived up to it's name!

After all that rambling, Happy Birthday Henri.......and  classy act from DB as well.

p.s. frozen lasagna should be labelled "not fit for human consumption"...and I actually like a good lasagna (to allay any hate mail lol)

    Yep lasagna!

If well done, with a lot of time and love, that's absolutely delicious. Plus don't denigrate Italian food, they are good neighbors...
If french food is the best (we should all agree on that) Italian food is, for me, a pretty close second (subtle, varied, sophisticated, and tasty). And they love the good wine too.

And finally the "big" diner is planned for this week-end. ;)

I'm sorry you had a bad meal in France... We have, like everywhere, some bad restaurants, and it's a shame. Nobody should mess with the french cuisine.

Thank you very much for the gift alanti. ;)
