Hey guys .. i left similar notes for DoctorTom, BartMania, Cyl6, Gangaman and Mrscramble.  Guess Bart just didn't get to read his yet.

:) ... if no word from Gangaman and/or Mrscramble by end of day today ... you 4 can schedule your semi-final match to see who plays Coolswing / Imcoola for the championship.

Good Luck to all of you.

Lou; take it we're good to go in terms of arranging this match. I'm tight for time at the end of this week so if you can confirm ASAP, this'd be appreciated.

Cheers Lou; what are the timeframes on getting this through. Tom and I have limited amounts of availability this week (half-term for daughter & Tom away at w/e) so just want a heads-up on a latest finish time.

And for what it's worth, I wasn't trying to be an ass. I just knew it'd been quite a while since we played a match...and I noticed that the other team has won it's last 2 matches via forfeit. I understand that life gets in the way of WGT. I just wanted to play, thats all. Posting was my way of saying, I'm ready and here are the times I can play. Cyl6 has been doing most (if not all) of the arranging for our team matches, but I don't think either of us felt like we were getting any closer to playing the match. That's what prompted my "last ditch effort" post to try and nail down a good playing time. Again, wasn't trying to be an ass. Just trying to play Best of luck to everyone!!!

Bart and I just played a great match with Jim (jimbean346) and Tom (doctortom). Was a great match, and honestly could have gone either way. They were great to play with and obviously great players.  Bart and I had a little more luck, we won 2 up.

Some highlights from the match - we went back and forth a lot on the F9. They hit a lovely wedge from 60 yds that almost spun in for a bird at 2, then they drained a nice putt for another bird to win another hole at 4.

We made a nice 15fter for birdie at 5 to square it, and then Bart put his tee shot inside 5 ft to set-up an easy birdie at 6.

On 9, I hit an awful drive into the weeds, but Bart bailed me out again by hitting out to 115 yds, With that ridiculous pin, I again left Bart "in the weeds," this time by playing him pin high 6 ft left of the hole. Faced with a mickey-mouse putt, Bart drained it to keep us 1 up at the turn.

On 12 Tom had 158 into the pin from the right rough, and just hit an amazing shot that trickled just past the hole. They converted for the birdie to go AS. 13 was a tough hole - Jim's tee shot rolled back to about 8 ft, but that ticklish putt just missed outside edge and they had a tough 5ft comebacker on the sidehill. The putt barely missed, and we made par to go back 1up.

14 was even tougher. 2 good drives were hit - I had 77 yds to the pin and was able to hit one to 2ft. They tugged theirs slightly, but the 17ft putt horseshoed around and out!!! It was a really tough miss for them and put us 2up.

From there, 15 (amazing approach for par by them) and 16 (another nice recovery) were halved with pars, and 17 with birdies to end the match.

Bart played great as did Jim and Tom. It was great company and a fun round. Really enjoyed it everyone. Thanks for the match!
