@Razza: Oh, don't not submit something on those grounds! I'd rather have a more complete picture of the stats than save a tiny bit of time, lol!

Any late stats entries should have come in by yesterday... so here is the wrap-up post for the April 2015 Tough-It-Out Tourney...
THE FINAL LEADERBOARD: (link here):
Above all, enormous congratulations to Ben (bhoese) on shooting a level-par 140 to win this tournament. Par or better across both rounds has only been managed once before on a full-length course in TIO events (by Russ in Feb at RSG), and is especially impressive given that these conditions were perhaps the hardest ever staged in Tough-It-Out!
LEADERBOARD PRIZES:
WGTdbloshoe very kindly offered a sleeve prize to each of the top 5 finishers on the final leaderboard. They are:
1 bhoese lvl61 Nikes TBC
2 FluffyGreens Max Slow Meter Pro TBC
3 akash1592 lvl85 Vapor Nikes CONFIRMED
4 mmyers0 lvl61 Nikes CONFIRMED
4 fmagnets Blue&White Stand Plus Golf Bag CONFIRMED
This month, 4 of our top 5 players are new, having never previously been top 5 so far this year. Well done to them, and congrats to Mags for his continued consistency (top 5 in each event so far except one 6th placed finish).
Would any of you who has not yet confirmed your choice of sleeve please do so here in the thread by Sun 4/26? Thanks!
SPECIAL PRIZES:
Spreadsheet is here.
Here is a pic of the final standings for these prizes: right-click on the image to enlarge, and keep clicking until you get largest view
Note I've added a highlight in yellow on the box where that player won that category, and highlights in blue if they were next in the standings.

Notable achievements from Stats sheet:
Highest overall percentage of Greens in Regulation:... mmyers0 is the winner in this category with 47%, an extremely high percentage given how many greens just simply couldn't be hit with starter gear into these elevated and heavily protected greens. mm had the best result in this category in both rounds. Next closest was Wesdogg75 with 38.5%.
Closest Average Distance to the Pin: akash1592 was the winner here, with a really low total of 14.1ft, with AdamK70 unlucky to fall just short with 15.6ft.
Number of saves: (total number of 1-putt par saves through 36 holes, as shown on all cards): ... bhoese topped this category with a total of 16 saves that's extremely impressive, just ahead of Mags and Corwyn with 15 each. Great short game prowess!
Most Number of Birdies: akash1592 takes the honor here, with a superb total of 6 birdies. There were so few clear birdie opportunities at Bethpage that Kash came close to taking every one!
Least Number of Bogies: Without FluffyGreen's R1 stats (and an incomplete R2 card that doesn't quite show everything it's hard to tell how much ahead Ben was in this category. His total of 5 bogies only is just stunning on this set-up: some really impressive scrambling!
Greatest overall total distance made putts: Several players managed over 200ft in distance made putts. bhoese, akash1592, and iannzzz were the players. Ben's total of 240.66 takes the prize.
Longest putt made: was also by Ben with a putt of 37.6ft in R1.
Least # of Putts: Surprise, surprise, Ben also had the least # of putts, with 48 (24/24). Next was Mags with 50 (25/25).
No 3-Putts: No fewer than 6 players managed to avoid a 3-putt: bhoese, fmagnets, Corwyn, ColumbusStorm, and AdamK70... [Edit! ... and #6 akash1592]
These were the sponsored prizes:
Longest putt made. SPONSOR: bhoese WINNER: bhoese
Number of saves. SPONSOR: Corwyn WINNER: bhoese
Highest % of Greens in Regulation SPONSOR: bhoese WINNER: mmyers0
Ave.Distance to Hole SPONSOR: Ianzzz WINNER: akash1592 lvl85 Vapor Nikes
Total distance made putts. SPONSOR: Corwyn WINNER: bhoese
So, Ben wins 2 more sleeves (from Corwyn). mm wins one from Ben, and Kash wins one from Ian. Would winners again please confirm their choice of sleeve asap. Thanks!

Thank you everyone once again for taking part in this event.
This Tough-It-Out challenge will be a regular monthly event through the year. It will run parallel to the VT each month and on the same course [when the VT course is a CCTH, we will use one of the 18-hole strokeplay courses not included in the main Tour]. Typically the Tough-It-Out challenge will fall in the 2nd and 3rd week each month. Also, I plan to compile the stats of each event into overall yearly Tough-It-Out Tour standings, with prizes on offer from myself for best position in various of these categories.
Next up is Congressional in mid-late May. Dates that I'm looking at right now are Thu 5/14-Wed 5/20 for R1 and Thu 5/21-Wed 5/27 for R2.
I'm also strongly considering setting up an overlapping Tough-It-Out UEL Starters Ryder Cup (also at Congo?) perhaps between Sat 5/16 and Fri 5/29. I'm thinking it would be organized on a catch-as-catch-can basis, namely that we set-up ALL the matches in advance and players schedule them whenever they can in that window. In other words, we wouldn't wait for Fourball to finish before a Foursomes or a Singles could start. I think we might also have to do it with perhaps 8 players per team instead of 12. If players are interested, please reply!
Hope to see you all at the next event, and do please help spread the word. Thanks!
