how about adding some new irons with the same attributes/stats as the G25 but with some extra length (legend length), i would love to see what they would be like with only 3 spin and the legend length. it would be interesting to know if they ever tested legend clubs with 3 spin and what they were like.

it could be a match made in heaven.

yeah, why change graphics and price, just add new irons to the pro shop, i think they would be a good addition to WGT, any brand would do, 225-125yards with 3 spin and 3.5 meter

L90 R11s look very ripe for replacement that way.  When is the only ? IMO.

good idea, change the spin and meter on the r11's and then introduce the R15 irons with the better spin and faster meter

Sorry I must not have been concentrating again :)......Yes ripe for replacement as regards meter speed I meant, but the spin I would expect most would say about bang on anyway.

If you want another set with less spin then good luck / wish you well, just not the way most would want those R11s changed, IMHO.

I think that is fair enough as the argument is TLs have a long time to wait to "feel" they are on a level field.  A  3 meter speed woudl do that with a decent ball.  Only RG playing TLs would care about the better ball I guess, and so a good deal all round (business v player ideals).

unfortunately i cant get close to the ding with a 3 meter, its like the ball doesn't do its job of slowing down the meter.

so sacrifice spin for meter speed with legend distances 225-120 and good enough stats/attributes like the G25's, im sure they would work well with a top quality ball

    I wish you well.

Personally I can't see why there should not be room for 4 sets in the 225 - 120 yards range.  I think the RG players will want the most spin, and would take a 3 meter (can use a L90 ball), and the other set a small notch below with less spin in return for a slower meter.  Looks good choice to me.

First RG player set based on the L90 R11s, and the second set an upgraded L83 type set.

Hopefully they have a product negotiator better than the one in charge of customer communication.

i like your ideas, it could take a long time before we see lots of choice in the pro shop, which is a shame, a shop with not much choice
