I don't have any experience with the Raptures as I had the TMs from the start. I loved them because you could play a run and gun game and SA winds were not a problem. I made Master 2 summers ago with the junior version and played as a Master with them for a while. I upgraded to the Master version of them and it got even better. What is a big PITA is not being able to get over certain elevations and having to settle for par. BPB5 is a good example.
I tried the G10s out of curiosity and with advice from the better players here I committed to them, keeping the TMs for SA. Heh-it helped that the first time I played BPB15 with them I was able to get on the green in 2 from 169, something you could never do with any TM iron.
That worked out pretty good until I got the i15s. Game over, the TMs don't come close to comparing. So much so that they turned into a bunch of Tour-SD balls and I haven't regretted it.
I like the superfast meter so the Tri and the new R9 fit right in. The Satin wedges are a little slow now but there isn't another choice. Do not fear the fast meter-you will adapt sooner than you think, you just have to commit to it. GL
