Not that I want the world to know, but yesterday on Olympic #4, I hit the tree, and my ball fell into the rough, for a drive of 98 yds. I sank a 22 foot putt for a par, but I got no award for choke relief. On those rare, Rare occasions when I don't bomb it down the fairway straight and true, I am bolstered by the knowledge that I can still get an award. How can I rectify this situation, and begin to live again?

I suspect the drive might have to hit the fairway for the purposes of the award.

I intentionally tried to get the tin award for that, just for fun. I played Kia, and I got the Tin award after the 5th short drive and par or better (so, you need to have 5 100yd or less drives that end in par or better to get the 1st award). Can't remember if it had to be in fairway or not, though.
