HELP !! :-)

  Just got back having had computer cleaned ( compressed air ) and there is not a peep out of the thing.

  The shop is closed now till morning so...

  Tried troubleshooting audio, checked nothing is on mute and been in the control panel ( hardware and sound ) but yet ...silence.

  Every system says all is good and at 100%.

  Any ideas on something obvious I'm missing or has the guy fook it somehow ? ;-)

  Go to the Device Manager (right click on MY Computer and click Properties.)  Look at the sound, video and game controllers.

  Open the hood and check for a loose/disconnected wire.

  Take a peek at your lower right hand corner, there is an ICON for speakers,  I bet your problem likes there! Most likely you or your system has something turned off.  Try and just unplug your speaker/headphone USB jack and let your system pick it back up!  This usually works for me!

  Laptop...and went to bed b4 a fuse blew ;-)

  Looked on U tube and tried about 6 diff fixes.....( found out a few new things too ).

  Seems everything is working / getting signal etc, which leads me to believe that he's dislodged a wire in there somewhere.

  Was going to restore it to before he got hold of it, as when I put the top down now it switches off instead of sleeping. I took me months to get this set just how I like it and nigh on perfect for WGT..sigh..........( it never rains but it pours lol )

  On a positive note the fan is actually kicking out cool air now and CPU at a steady 12%, he did something right :)

  Ring him later when he opens up which will mean a trip out....wish people would do their job properly, I couldda done THIS !!  :-))
