    Interesting post.

I use either Microsoft Edge or Chrome. I have ad blocker on, yet I still have to wait ONE MINUTE before the start of each round or when WGT throws in a fault that a player has to disconnect.

    This is not on!!!

WGT has cut the time that we get to talk to our fellow players who plays a great shot or has a birdie/eagle, but increased the amount of time for adverts is killing my enjoyment of WGT.

I use Firefox, with Add Blocking on, as well as the Adware Block Plus(as well as modifying my hosts file).  I have several friends who use neither, and frankly they slow the game down for all of us.

This wouldn't really bother me except that it also slows down people enough that they have to re-connect to stay in the game, which they can not always do, because the adds take so long.

I spend a lot of money on WGT which gives me an add free experience(along with my pop up and add blockers).

For people who don't spend a lot of money(which they may do in the future if they don't have problems with the time spent on advertising).  This is a negative experience.

People can deal with a 10 second add, a whole minute is going to turn people off.

This sounds to me like your ad blocker is just hiding the ad from view rather than stopping it from being downloaded in the first place. My advice, try a different ad blocker.

I don't put any money into this game. The only ads I experience are the ones on the margins while I read and respond to forum threads. When I am on the courses playing, there are no ads of any kind. Never knew that WGT had a special version for paying customers. Tell me how to find it because WGT sure does not ADVERTISE it. (And perhaps I use an over-zealous ad blocker, too)

They don't. Adblock does all you need and that's free.
