My suggestion to WGT is to create an advanced option.  Have the current format as the default, and give the option of vertical only power adjustment as it was prior to the update.  A day later after 15-20 rounds it is still really bothering me.  It is causing me to waste a lot of time reswining, and just generally making the swing a pain in the ass if less than full power is needed.

    StoneColdKiller:
Previously, if you clicked and dragged straight up or diagnol up-right or diagnol up-left, it would add power.

I've never heard/nor noticed that before. Not disputing..... always dragged straight-up or slight dia.up and right.

    StoneColdKiller:
Now, If you click and drag left, it adds power. If you click and drag it straight up, add powers in a sticky/jittery way. If you click and drag diagnol up-right, it jitters and jumps up n down (less-power-to-more-power) like it got confused.

    Still i've only experienced sticky/jitter w/putter.....just saying.;)

edit....just played Oakmont (got whopped)) and realized I needed an "arm extension" to reach full power. LOL

Meter doesn't seem to "fluctuate" as much at the other 3 courses....ummm or maybe I haven't noticed or paid heed. Yea yea, I'am just STUPID.

    Bollie-

Having the same issues on this end. It has actually caused me to miss a few putts short, b/c I'm sick and tired of resetting the meter. Great suggestion on making it an option. Very frustrating.

Am I correct this was an intentional unpublished change to the power adjustment?  I didn't realize the power meter did not function before when moved laterally as I always moved the mouse vertically.  Huh,

WGTicon, what was the reason for the change?  Maybe easier for laptop touch pad users?

Bollox' idea on an option to turn it on/off makes sense.  I'd like the old smoother vertical way back.

I completely agree...was trying to hit a few touchy shots..and meter was goin back and forth...2 steps back..4 forward..hard to get exact yardage w/ new way.  Very frustrating also.  Please go back to old way or give us the option like Bolly mentioned

Bollux, I am really glad that you brought this up. To be honest I really thought it was my pc since windows updated the same day. I notice is more as a "rubber band"effect as someone mentioned here. I tend to notice is mostly when putting at the lower levels, say around 5 to 15 feet putts but I have noticed a few times on irons at about 90-95%. After a few days now I have to say it is the most annoying thing and feel I am having to fight to get the power meter where I want it before I putt. Often I will have to reset because the area around the ding line starts to close. So please either make this an option or put it back.

I'm having the same problem, the mouse is more sensitive.  This needs to be fixed quick or make it an option in the game settings.

Very hard to get it just right on touchy putts. I get it where I want and then it moves. To many complaints.... must have programmed it in on new update.

This is not the place for suggestions my friend.  LOL  They've made that painfully obvious.  Waiting for our buddy Icon to come in and tell you to adjust.  hehe

Seriously, I haven't noticed any difference.  Played probably 30 rounds since the update and I still power up moving the mouse vertically.  I do have to travel a tad farther and meter is as bad as ever though.
