This browser has the best stability for the precision we need to hit the ding way more often. The meter stays true and smooth throughout as long as you have a decent graphics card on your PC. Makes Chrome and IE look sick.

I've used Maxthon 3 for a year or two and my meter is great. If I get a tremor on it I know I've left another window open.

You've already created a thread about your favoured browser, why start another?

Does anyone know why when I use Max cloud (or G. Chrome), and I look at my task manager processes I'll see several titles of maxathon, each one using different amounts of CPU when I only have one window open?

Even IE only uses one title, and I see it's using less CPU. I believe C. Dragon is the same w/ only one process and that's why I use C. Dragon. I believe my Opera brower is the same, using only one title w/ minimal CPU usage compared to Chrome and Max.

Would that be the plugins perhaps?

Are you sure it is not memory usage you are seeing?  CPU and Memory are different.

Looking at it, yes, that's it but there are also different CPU numbers.

Now I using Chrome (1 window, solo) and it looks like this:

    ----------------------------------------------------------------

                                          CPU                  Memory

    chrome.exe                     07                   151,000

    chrome.exe                     04                     91,000

    chrome.exe                     01                     22,000

[sometimes there may even be more listings]

    when I use IE :

    iexplore                            00                   7,320

But there's only one, which is alright by me.

Thanks, I see I could have googled that one real quick, my bad. I'd like to add that Max can view Twitch streams nicely (for me)..it will 'hang up' less than my other browsers.
