Is there an added performance to your game if you use clubs and balls with the same attributes, i.e meter speed the same and spin the same etc. In other words is using high level clubs with WGT cacky balls or low level clubs with Nikes, worse than using middle of the road for both

I have read some good discussions on this, as i can never work out whether im adding dots or averaging out dots. I use Nike level 85 clubs (prob stay with these as extra spends for half a dot or so seems fruitless) and level 33 cals (have used nikes but my distances went to pot, or should i say more to pot lol)

    Thanks in advance

High level clubs will perform better with "cacky" balls than low level clubs.  HL clubs will perform at their best with a premium ball. OTOH "cacky" clubs with a premium ball is basically only a waste of a good ball.

Premium balls start to get fussy though (esp Nikes), and so swapping a ball club combo is bad in the short term whilst you map everything - roughly that's it, IMNSHO :)  Settle on a combo that suits, and learn it properly I would say.

I can relate to that. With the same clubs I used L33 Call and Nike L70,71 and my distances way awry. They get affected by wind and spin too much for me. I'm too lazy to work out how much different spin affects, so went back to lower spin balls lol.
