Alosso it is not 30 credits per shot but by hole  every hole if you want the Focus will cost you the 30 credits .  Be much better if it was per game . as such Not Worth it  .

ust to put this futile effort in perspective....How many have complained here? 100? 50? IDK, somebody can count them but the point is, that number is but  a tiny fraction of the total golfers here and you just know it's all falling on deaf ears.

Even if 1000 players complain, providing the others are buying the gimmick/cheat, in their eyes it is success.

I'm curious about just how many of these WGT is "selling".   I went back and looked at my "Friend Udates" activities that show up when you first open WGT.  I have 112 friends - 60 of whom are in my CC which has "banned" the use of these in any way shape or form.  Going all the way back to the 19th when this was introduced till now, I'm glad to say only 1 other player on my entire friend list has purchased 1 - and it was only 1 which I assume was to see just what all the fuss was about.  If I notice someone is purchasing these on a "regular" basis, they will be deleted from my list, and have posted this message on my profile page

    What are others seeing?

WGT needs to get rid of it (obviously the preferable solution - but one I fear will never happen), but if not, eliminate it from any "competition" match (WGT; CC, and even invited games).  Leave it for individual play for those obsessed with lowering their average to move up in tiers which will allow WGT to benefit from the players purchase of better (more expensive) equipment etc. and for practice rounds if someone wants to ding a shot to confirm their "calculation" of wind, elevation or speed to reference in future matches.

X2...gonna have  to verify it though...

    Edit:

Just tried it off the tee...drive was "boosted", but the approach was normal.

It's "per shot", not "per hole".

Well, it is encouraging that (a) you can tell when someone is using the cheat, and (b), it appears that not that many are doing it.  After re-thinking this, the better players don't need it, and it will screw with your timing.  I would think the first 'normal' shot after hitting one or two with the boost would be off... unless you have the patience to take a couple 'practice' swings to get used to the timing again.

Maybe this is much ado about nothing... I can hope...
