There is NO way that this shot could happen but it did!! Naturally it was in a tournament so I lost a stroke.

This game is more disgusting and frustrating than enjoyable!

    What a bunch of    "*& ^ %$ ^ O  OU&{ + "

This is a well-known anomaly of CCC #18, and I think it saved you a shot or a ball.

Imagine it would have continued straight towards the woods - the outcome would either be OOB (two strokes) or from heavy rough conditions far away from the fairway (at least one shot to recover) - been there, done that.

Furthermore, the long approach from the regular landing area is risky - a wet ball is well possible. A long transport shot diminishes this risk.

It is called "collidable" object in the 3D (3 dimension) graphic world Harry....which means that the ball hit an object (a unseeing branch) and was send back some yards, it could be in any direction really.

As in several other examples in other courses where ball hits "invisible" trees or branches, WGT did not match accurately the shape of the tree.

Nothing we players can do about it but either get pissed or laugh.

    Good luck next time Harry.

I agree with Alosso....IMO it was a lucky break where you could still make par.

Not sure if you got metered as it was a rank drive (aka myself)  but you were lucky not to be OB (stroke and distance).

I too have been over there in very deep rough, and ended up a disaster hole...

It would be an utterly astounding accomplishment if the they could come anywhere close to accurately matching all of a tree's branches, and leaves.

Only thing is, there's absolutely no tree imaginable at the brink of the fairway:
