Can someone explain this too me?

  Played oak back 9 ready go hit 6 of 7 fairways. Yet card says 6 of 6 and the percentage is wrong in the stats section. Is it just slow to calculate or is it always wrong. Been tracking fairways hit because I obviously cant putt well so fairways and greens are a must.  Just wondering, I realize i know whether im keeping it in the sort stuff but over a period of time its easier to monitor in my stats to see if its going up or down. Im only at 79% and i need to improve but with these calculations i dont trust the numbers in my stats. I hit 6 of 7 fairways, yet card says 6 of 6 but then says only 575 hit. Anyone know whats going on? Thanks.

  I don't think it counts drives made with anything but a driver.

  thanks thats one thing ive heard, which is a mistake as well. just happened again, hit 7 0f 7 this time though and use 3 wood on 17 and only received 86%. oh well

  I'd be curious to hear some comment from WGTiconian on this. 

  Is that a truth?

  If so wouldn't it make more sense to count any first shot from a Tee "Lie" regardless of club?  Tying this statistic to the club used does not seem logical.

  TD / Bill,

  Silly question here (and not trying to be argumentative) but ... does it really matter ?   After 1,000 rounds and all of those tee shots a few (or even a few hundred) that are not captured correctly are not going to move the statistics that much.   2 things matter ... the score and did you win ... :)   Just an opinion.    Be Good.

  pointed this out to wgt months ago - how a fairway hit with a 3 wood does not = hit fairway and there is a thread about this. They are aware but not done anything about it

  Hi there TD. I thinks things are a bit screwed up with the game at the moment. I was playing a CC tournament about a week back and i birdied 1 of the holes. But when my scorecard came up, it said i bogied the hole. I was so stunned, i didnt even think of sending in a bug report.

  That makes sense to me. You can not drive with anything but a driver.

  True only drives with the driver count as a hit fairway. Check this out. Played the entire round driving with my 3 iron because I forgot to change from my CTTH set-up.
