recently I decided that it was time to upgrade my trusty old L59 Ping G20 irons ... 115-210 yds high traj, 3.5 precis, 2.5 forgiv, .5 shap, 3 spin & 4 Meter.
I thought ... Im just going to splurge and buy the latest high level Vapor Nike irons.
Only to find Im nowhere near the required level to unlock the Level 100 nike vapor.
So.... I look at the other possibilities ... I dont see any irons available to me (L95) that I currently consider to be long term value.
This is what I require ... 120-225 yds irons
With ...Traj HIGH, Prec 4, Forgiv 3.5, Spin 3.5-4, Meter 3.5-4
But irons like this, either 1. dont exist and 2. are not currently available to me at L95.
So reviewing the possibilities I find that ...
IF the nike L85 were 225yd irons. I might give them a try.
IF theTaylormade L 90 irons had a 3.5 meter. I'd buy them.
IF the Max L94 irons were 225 yds & 3.5 spin. I'd buy them and be willing to pay more for them.
IF the nike L97 were available to me & had 3.5 forgiv & 3.5 Meter. I'd buy them.
IF the L100 nike vaps were available to me, I'd buy them as they are ... ASAP. lol.
I dont see why WGT will not allow level & status to co-exist within an equipment opportunity.
Why not let Legends buy any gear within say, 3 levels of their current level status & let Tour masters do the same?
This immediately solves my Irons problem/dilemma.
Has WGT considered the possibility of charging a value added fee for adding .5 to aspects of club sets that currently do exist?
Plus say ... $10 to add per aspect .5 to any 2 club preformance aspects (any 2) (not to exceed 4.0) in any aspect, for a one time upgrade deal. ?
Just a thought
