lee22sharon: It is called random for a reason. If you take something away it is no longer random!
Taking something away makes it not random? What kind of logic is that? All that is being asked is for the number of choices to be reduced by the abstract speeds. 6 green speeds is more than enough to have a random selection.
The amount of work the OP does in our CC with tournaments is astounding. Having to laboriously set up 4 rounds manually is time consuming and the random function eases that. It isn't about him being lazy.
I never mentioned "lazy".
If it is, It IS! If it wasn't, It wouldn't be, but it is. Live with it. A simple way to look at it, and maybe not the only way to view this particular problem.
Certainly there are other ways to do this, without removing choices that we already have. Perhaps there are MANY others who enjoy these other green speeds. Your going to take that away from them?
perhaps it isn't all the choices to be made but the way these happenings must be set up is the real problem. I'm all for streamlining a proceedure, as long as it does not interfer or negate what others already have. my nickle.
ps, try removing all the aces from a deck of cards and then play "21" are the cards being played still random? Maybe, but there will not be a "21".
