why not make the ball lie display "on" at all times, eliminating the need to hover on it to see it?

And ...  after selecting a wedge have the green break shown at all times, all views?

Without the need to select the putter to see green break.

Making the shot set-up a bit more seamless.

    thanks

I don't want this.  Displaying the green break dots uses a lot of CPU power and if one doesn't wait a few seconds for the CPU to settle down before starting the meter  it will cause meter stutter or lag.  Particularly if you have a underpowered PC.  WGT will get lots of complaints if that were implemented.

Its been known for a long time that a 2 to 3 second pause at the top of the swing helps to prevent meter problems.

    lol ok.

it would be no different than it is now, only better. more convenient to shot set-up.

Dots go off when swing starts.   = no difference. only improvement.

I think underpowered players are the <5% crowd.

Of course it's different.  With your suggestion there will be many more shots where the dots are moving before the swing starts.  More opportunities for meter stutter.

And judging by the number of meter posts and the continued WGT advice to shut down everything other than the game, your underpowered estimate is very low IMO.

Developing a reliable pre-shot routine would in fact eliminate the need for all that. Having WGT write needless code to simplify your game is not the best solution.

... and can we have 1500cr Nike Cupseeker balls, and icrease cup size boost 100cr stays active for 30 secs and,and,and...

People can hit 50, I think the game is easy enough as it is, not for me obviously.

And if wgt didn't have to store 3500 of your posts maybe they'd have more bandwidth to apply to the game.

Without the need to select the putter to see green break.

They did that a long time ago, and you can do it with the woods and all your irons

Using the Pitch/Chip shot mode - putting green grid
