  That option has no effect on the Putter Caddy.

  Well poop, lol!  That's a shame because imo it's the most annoying thing in the game.

  9th hole of back 9 Congressional, I had a straight 6 ft putt for a 9 bird 9 (I've never had one), hit the putt perfectly only to see it hit the back of the cup and go 18ft past the hole.

  That was a tad annoying. Made par though.

  I call it being Gullivered - you suddenly realise you're on a much bigger scale than you thought you were.

  As for I, a 25-54 yard shot, I'd use the L89 ATV. If it is 13-23, I pitch it, and chip if less than 12. And on STA #9, I just putt if it within 1-2 feet of the fringe.
