Again i cant remove or decline an cc invite. First its of course pretty annoying to get the invite anyway, because i am already a member of another CC, second this problem was already brought to attention a few weeks ago.

I dont understand why this is not solved, and so i tried to place a message on the board of the player who invited me. I found there the message how to get rid of this annoying glitch by accepting the invite, and after that resigning that cc again. After that you can join the original cc again.

Its good thinking of the person who brought us this solution, but in my opinion its not our place to work around a problem WGT should deal with, swift and decisive. So WGT, act on it, please!

It may be acceptable for a CC-less player, but certainly not to leave the own CC.

Apart from the thoughtless owner who might as well stop inviting and remove his pending members, I detest the situation where such intense user's workaround should be neccessary AND IS PROPOSED by WGT.

I got one a few days ago, tried declining it a couple of times from one of the web pages or another and was logged out each time.  The invite lived on.

I ignored the invite for a few days, then had the idea this morning to decline it from the game client.  I got an error message about an "invalid tournament" which I was able to close without further disruption.  The invite disappeared.  Success!

(To be safe, I should mention that I wasn't playing in a tournament at the time.  I don't know if this will disrupt tournament play.)

I opened WGT on another machine in Chrome a few minutes ago and the invite was back.  opened the game client and refused it again.  Checked to see if closing Chrome would make the invite reappear; it did not.

Opened Maxthon...the invite was back.  Closed and opened Chrome again with Maxthon still open and showing the invite...no invite there.  Tried refusing the invite from a WGT web page (my profile I think) in Maxthon...success!

Summary:  Refusing a CC invite in the game client seems to work.  The invite might still show on other browsers or other machines, and it might be possible to refuse that invite on the web page after it has been refused in the game client elsewhere.

Hopefully the bug will be fixed (and 4 new bugs added) on the next downgradetime. In the meantime, maybe ask the CC owner, on his/her wall to kindly remove the invite.

I don't think it would be "too" difficult to fix it so players who are members of a CC cannot receive CC invites at all.

If everyone would bombard these CC owner's with posts on their walls, the blind and unscrupulous inviting might slow down some.

Better yet, WGT should stop CC invites altogether until it's fixed. CC's can still come here and promote their clubs, and players would still be able to request memberships.

Seems all the clubs in question have deleted all their pending invites. Maybe they got a message from WGT?

    I beg to differ oldbones.

Jewel Blue (ccv2qr ) still has 207 invites out there for the 9 open spots in a 30 member CC It is the last remaining big one I know of that does not pay attention to people wanting off the Pending Invite list.
