Wedges lost all Spin ?

  I know some players here incluided me, they have the same probs with the wedges some times. Ball is running away like water is fallowing a mountain down hill. Or stops like falling stone in the half of distance.

  This is the net working of wgt and flash player. Its not the reason we have to controll our PC"s. The game platform need a big replacement. 

  Same i saw this in to much CttH games. Lot of shots are very close to the pin, and than you have 2 or 3 hits you dont know why the distance is a big incontinence in this moment.

  Yankee. Any given approach shot With the Lower level Cleveland wedges With Better balls used to come back quite a bit with just a little bit of Backspin applied.Full Backspin and They would come screaming back.

  I purchased the new wedges and They seemed to not have any backspin at all....Did some testing in practice rounds....Tried different balls.....Still no go so I sold and Re Purchased the lower wedges hoping to go back to what I had but now they are dead as well....They Stop but but no back spin whatsoever. Even with the 600 Nike balls with 4.5 spin...

  Its a crazy thing but I guess I'll just get used to them...

  If you are really wanting them to back up HARD (at "FULL" power), move the green dot about '1 DOT' up from FBS and hang on for the ride. Lost a couple of balls at St Andrews #1 from doing this with a punch shot.  As YJ said in other posts, FBS on pitches and chips do not stop the ball the way they used to -

  Partial spin is where you get the reverse action. For instance, I use the high level CG and if I use full back spin with the 64W, the ball stops and hops. But if I use less than that I get it to back up. How far depends on how much bs. 

  This is what you really need to know and the only way you're going to find out is by trying it yourself. Vary the back spin and see what happens. Make sure you're hitting into a flat green with no elevation change.

  I'm curious to see what you come up with.  :-)

  This was just a few min ago. I tried very little BS,Medium BS and Full. This is a full 60 Wedge with Full back spin and is the most I got Out of all four shots.

  Did you notice the 'back the ball up' claim has been removed from the CG description as well? Oh well.

  I had the top CGs but I now have the 588s and it's always that 60yd wedge that has the deadly spin, natch more so than the 80yd, etc. one.

  I am playing now with someone who has Cg16 level 76-80..I am wondering if I made a stupid mistake and sold my higher level Cg16's since I havent played in a cpl years.......thinking I just had CG16's....ugh...I went through my activity and unfortunatley it doesnt say what I sold back....But Im thinking I had the High level CG's from back in the day....
