I watched a few of his shots and the ball came back quite a bit....Im thinking I just made a stupid mistake and sold some good Old clubs......and wasted money...oh well...Thank you Yankee and all who have tried to resolve the issue...Now Im back on the search for wedges with some pizazz.....1600 a piece for 3 Clevelands is a bit much for me after my stupid experiment

Personally I would swallow that 1, cut my losses and just get the top end cleves as and when.  All the "pizazz" in them you need.

GL figuring out what will work for you but something you might want to consider-spinning wedges back is fun to watch but not really the best way to go about business. The majority of your hole-outs are going to come from shots with top spin or no spin.

I very seldom use back spin on full wedge shots simply because they don't really need it to stop. In fact, the 64W needs some top spin to keep it from backing up. Try doing without the spin for a spell and see how your wedges act. Learn them that way first and the back spin will be easier to understand.

    ^^^^^+5

    THINK for a moment ............

You send your  (hard earned) credits to upgrade your equipment!

OK, now you have unfamiliar gear to play with, right?

You spent 100 cents on the dollar (pence on the pound?) to buy the new gear and you, immediately sell your old gear back to the Pro Shop at 25% of its original price------

It doesn't perform the way you expected -

so logic tells you to buy back your old gear at 100% -  - - - - - again?

and why do I suspect that you sold the newer gear back to the Pro Shop as soon as you had the 'old" back at hand?

Might I suggest that you clear your logic and reset your brain?

Why in the heck would you , EVER CONSIDER SELLING YOUR OLD GEAR BEFORE LEARNING HOW THE NEW PERFORMS???

(Not really) Sorry for shouting - but someone needs to tell you that WGT, absolutely, CRAVES customers who think this way! You'll be a TL in no time!!!!!

I mostly agree with what you posted but what do you mean by that final sentence?

Heh, I think it was a sarcastic dig at the perception that WGT is a money pit and caters to those that spend.

Only the old gear isn't available anymore!!

fwiw i got the new ones in free rental and didn't find any difference with the CGs apart from a slower meter.

Yeah I went ahead and got the High level RTX Cleveland's and my old High level CG's were much better....I wish I would have checked the level of my older wedges first then I would have held onto them for a while....No Biggie just free credits anyways...

Mine perform exactly the same, save for the new slightly slower meter as advertised.  Without reading the whole thread you realise they deleted BS from most rough? are you using a like for like ball for comparison........You are the only one who has ever had that problem if it's other than the rough which is a known change we all had to get used to...No need to check the levels of the old ones as the HL ones were just an exact replacement, and without question the best performing cleves.
