    YankeeJim:

    mnshiner:
Sorry you feel that way, but Virtual Game or not You still have to know where to hit the ball and what it will do after landing.

This is interesting because this is the basic difference between a gamer and a golfer. Gamers go by the numbers and expect them to work. Golfers play around whatever happens.  :-)

Lol ... Golfers are a kind of heroes or idiots ?

Lmao, my second home I see a golf course, let me say that your heroes i do not see one as soon as a drop of rain threatens.

But whatever happens the bar is full of big heap of themselves as athletes because they have balls in the trunk of their cars.

In my family are the dogs playing with a ball.

Anyway it is a video game for which, one way or another, we pay. The minimum of decency would like it pretty much works

For not even half of what we see on the WGT, CEO videos gaming edition company  made a public apology and have even withdrawn their products from the market.

The real market not the land of care bears.

About personnal computers ... What i saw, .... One day my PC was out, so to keep my 880 daily XP i go to municipal library.

So what ? PC works perfectly on WGTalthough they have poor configurations (Pentium without video card)  but administrators have all configured  (no youporn, no gambling and other BS) and when you quit the PC is as clean as you never use it.

Obviously you look stupid to play while other users are looking for  job.

Speaking for Congressional and Merion only (just played them few minutes ago CTTH), because these are the only courses I've played, the reverse view and green zoom camera angles are not fixed.  Not at all.  In addition, some of the flagsticks in the green zoom are still missing or re-appear after toggling zoom out and in.

Appreciate you guys trying to resolve these issues reasonably quickly..

I don't suppose it is worth asking about maybe looking at your coding / update procedures? I mean things with wgt used to be quite stable over time, at least that was my experience from the time I first signed up (2013) until late last year..

I know it isn't my place really, but for whatever reason, wgt and the game seems to have turned into a bit of a train wreck the last 7 months, and I am sure if everyone didn't enjoy it so much, we wouldn't all be "up in arms" as much with the past few 'updates' that break so many things.. and I know I speak for the majority like myself who have invested both a deal of time and money to be the best at this game.

It is like one or two things get fixed, and 4 or 5 new problems emerge..

some of the ball jerkyness and panning shot jerkyness has seemed to clear up as well. i don't think the meter will ever be fully smooth and i know that is one thing that does depend on which browser u use etc. but ya im sure they can fix it somehow if they really wanted to. and ya at least the camaeras are usable now.

Edit: just finished a round and def. the game is back to "playable" status for me anyways. most of the camera angles are fixed and my biggest issue was the ball flight and ball roll jerkyness as well as the stuttering camera panning. it seems to be as smooth as it was before the last patch if not even a little bit better.

    Hey y'all

I came across an old post =in our CC forums and thought I would bring it up here.

It is a TCP/IP Latency fix which I applied to my registry way back when , not sure if this is the reason my meter is reasonably consistent.

But perhaps its worth a try?

Can't finish an alternate game tonight, 3 defeats

You or your partners disconnect 3 times blablabla and you're disqualified blablabla

What is funny (not that much) is the opponent the disconnection and we loose (funny), not that much

    Thank you wgt

    Micheldess!! ;)

What's up P ^^.  Sorry man, WGT 7/31 update has completely screwed me bro so I haven't been able to play any ALT games.   Meter (it's god aweful), Camera angles, and Blue screens have ruined it for me.

I can sort of play 9 holes of CTTH (although my scores are much worse due to Meter issues) but their is sOOOOOO much Flash memory leak that I have to save my game after only 2-3 holes (Maxthlon, Commodo, and FF all run in the 700,000K - 1.4M after 2-3 holes).  Clear all cache's, re-log and repeat.  And we're talking 2-3 holes man!!

So I get 2-4 shots at best before my Meter just goes cray cray and I exit/clear/re-load.  It's sad.

If WGT ever fixes this stuff I'll reinstitute my Flist and we'll go own some peeps up (you too Rawits, VR, and Myla) ;)
