I edited that post because I thought I was looking at the Startup tab. What does that look like? (Just the first view.)

I was gonna say ^^.  I have a ghost-town on my computer.  Very very lean.  This is my gaming machine.  Here is the Startup tab.  And lets keep in mind my game was working perfectly before 7/31.

I wish I knew what that meant lol!

All I know is I'm pretty fed up with WGT at the moment ;)  I really wish they'd stop adding more features and just fix what they got first.

That looks good, Sean. The whole reason I was after that stuff is because I'm not having issues with gameplay and we're pretty much on the same page as far as setup goes. I don't use GB, though, so I'm looking at what we can do to get yours like mine. The basics are in place so if you're up to it, there's a next step-undoing Flash and getting it to work right.

Basically, uninstall Flash and install an earlier version. There's a specific routine so you have to follow it Flash's way. Use their uninstaller and get the version I have listed in the post. Be patient here because you're getting someplace. We'll get this right or die trying.  :-)

    Last post on Page 1.

p.s., Make sure you verify the version in your game browser settings after you install it.

Thanks for trying to help Jim.  I'll try the uninstall and reinstall of an older version next.  I'm really curious as to what the hell WGT reallty did on 7/31.  I can't play a damn thing as it stands.  It's pathetic.  If this older version of flash doesn't work I'm just gonna take a month or two break and see if its fixed when I come back.

    ;).  Rolled back to 12/10/2013 11.9.900.170

Preliminary results look promising!  Played 8 holes w/out GB with FF and started hole 1 with Flash running at 272,000K.  By hole 3 at 375,000K which was much better than Maxthon (pre flash roll back which was at 800,000+K).  By hole 8 Flash was running at 475,000K.

So there is still some memory leak, albeit, not nearly as bad.  If nothing else I should at least be able to finish 9 holes and then empty cache's and reload FF.  So at the 9th hole I loaded up GB and Flash dropped from high 470,000K to 272,000K.

Maintenance at 10:00PM kicked in and stopped me from playing 9 more holes to finish my test, however, so far it looks like there is a visible improvement with the old flash player w/ less memory leaks.  Throw in GB and it looks like my Flash player might run at a consistent 275 - 300,000K which would make my meter what it was pre 7/31.

EDIT:  so far didn't last very long lol.  I have no idea if it was just 1 lucky 9 holes, the 8/6 update, who knows.  All I can say is my meter is back to being a little messed up.  Not as bad but it's still noticeable on many shots.  Memory leak jumps to around 450,000K after 3 holes and finishes around 675,000K after 9.  So it's improved by around 40-50% but still need improvement.

Likewise, flags still missing, camera angles still wacked, and my Callaway 33 (now softs) are having some 15Y flight deviations in yardage which is just silly.  So I'm taking a one month break (after I hit Lvl 100 tomorrow) and hopefully WGT will have fixed this mess by the time I come back.

    Cheers and Happing golfing!

    Sean

Nice job hanging in there, at least we got someplace. FWIW, that Flash deterioration is new because I can see it after 2-3 AS games. Rebooting the browser always cures it but this is new since the camera debacle started. I suspect (hope) it goes away when they get those cameras and sound files all back to where they belong.
