Benefits of Champion & Tour Champion

  As we all see there are the new Champion & Tour Champion tiers, I wonder

  Hey WGT, what are benefits of Champion & Tour Champion for Tour Legends motivation?

   

  • special tournaments for those tiers?...with higher stakes?
  • special benefits like equipment & tools only for those levels?
  • free equipment rental?
  • new green speed?
  • new tees?
  • tougher course settings?
  • new tougher flag placements?
  • etc.......what?

   

  As far as I see (already posted in another similar thread) there are NO benefits but the new status, am I right?

  Hope I'm wrong and WGT will give lots of new benefits to motivate TL's to grab the new tiers : ))).

  A quick look at community spotlight or simply use drop down boxes on WGT community shows they have one Tour Champion already.......how does that happen?

  No Champions yet but a straight forward TC

  WGTicon can be any tier he wants (iconian is his account from before he was hired).

  There is no problem with Iconian being a Tour Champion. He can't compete for credit winnings, as Iconian is WGTIcon's gaming account. He can use that account only for non-credit winning games. How did it happen? According to him, he flipped the switch and gave his gaming account Tour Champion status. 

  As I understand the two new tiers, they were thought up to separate the better Tour Legends from the lesser ability Tour Legends, thereby giving the lesser TL's more opportunity to compete and possibly win credits. Champions Tier requires 200 ranked rounds on top of whatever ranked rounds a Tour Legend already has. There is also a score average requirement, but that hasn't been revealed. In time, it will become known once people start tiering up.

  Tour Champion Tier is by invitation only, for those that demonstrate exceptional ability at playing this game, I would expect.

  You get the same benefits as the other tiers and nothing more . You also get to chase your tail again and throw more of your hard earned money to WGT .

  Back when the highest tier was Legend tier players began crying that they couldnt compete and tournaments were unfair due to the better playing Legends . They wanted a new tier to separate the top players .So WGT came up with the Tour Legend tier .

  Now here we go again . The same old song and dance in the game . Its all about the scores posted during the virtual open by WGT`s in house crowd of players shooting low 50`s . Most of the seasoned players know that its rigged so they just play for fun and nothing more .

  So for those who want to chase their tails again here you go . Me if I ever get there it wont be from trying . Im not wasting my time or buying any balls with the game being in such a lousy state . With all of the things this game needs another new tier is not and should not have been on the list .

  WGT can always figure out ways to try to get more money out of players but cant fix the issues with the game . This game has become nothing but a joke with all of its bugs and overall neglect .

  Oh dont forget the whopping 250 credits that you get when you tier up to Champion tier.Wow thats what we got when we reached Tour Legend . How about 1000 credits 3 sleeves of top Nike balls and a free club of the players choice . Of course that wont happen .

  So the new tiers will be a joke just like the WGT Nation membership . No matter how many tiers they add to the game it will never stop the in house crew from winning everything or give the other players a fair chance .

  there is no benifits only thing you will get is 250 credits for making champion. big deal, wgt ruined the integerity of this game a long time ago by making equipment available to low level players that high level took us longer to get.  got to love them level 100 tour masters hanging around or the tour legends crying about their avarages going up because of the new tiers and never played ranked rounds since making TL....most of the TL's should have been bumped to champion after they played a ranked round perfect example is sebicu level 132 and can name so many more big money players and iconian is 1st tour champion that is nothing more then a crock of bull. wgt can keep their cicle jerk players for tour champion because as long as it is invite only You will never be in that class as alredy seen by avancing iconian over any of the top money players that are there every month is BS. donsprintr even said it better then me.

  well donstrintr as we have already seen that will not be the case since the 1st tour champion by passed champion and straight to tour champion. so where is the ranked rounds for champion ?????? so where is the wgt chimps to explain how this happened????? Iam waiting for their stupid response to this which will not happen, their are hoping it will just go away!!!!!
