  Hope I'm wrong and WGT will give lots of new benefits to motivate TL's to grab the new tiers

  Erm, what makes you think it requires any kind of benefit to get there as a motivation? The red tees will be swamped immediately in a race to see who gets there first. Damn the benefits, or lack thereof, full speed ahead, running the ladies out of the way. Real man golf coming up.  Pffft.

  I think there's a  SNEAKY reason why WGT are introducing the new tiers.  Put it this way, when there was a legend tier I was able to get my credits well up in playing match play challenge matches all day against other legends.  When WGT introduced the Tour Legend tier I was only able to maybe play one game all day.  No one wanted to play me at all because I was tour legend.  Now becasue you can't win much in ready go's and no one wants to play challenge matches instead of my credits going up like they used to in the 100,000, i am now way down to around 80, 000 HALF of what i used to have, and throw in way more expensive balls then I think WGT KNOW what they're doing.  A new tier is going to make it even  harder for the mortal players in making any money at all on this site!!!

  Icon was moved for a couple different reasons.  He is a Mod and we need someone to test out the new tier on Live.  We could of made a player and pushed them up, but this way everyone knows who it is.  Quite frankly if he was still able to play for credits and tournaments he would most likely be one of the first invited to become a Tour Champion.  So people need to just relax and calm down.

  As to what the new tier offers, for now it is just prestige.  In the future we may add some other benefits but for now it is all about joining an exclusive new tier.

  Sorry, as most know I do not slam WGT often - if at all - but this one I just have to say will be my worst ever.

  First of all, WGT did not move Iconian to Tour Champion - WGTIcon moved himself to that Tour Champion status.

  Second, if you really wanted us to believe the reason WGT wanted to test the new tier there is a really simple question: Why didn't Iconian spend a week or two in Champion Tier playing that tier until a few others got there to test that one rather than doing both in a minute or two?

  The more important question however - and you said it yourself - "We could of made a player and pushed them up"  So why did you not do that before the release, test it and delete the account so it would not look so blatantly silly?

  Heck you should test everything before it is released.

  With all due respect to Iconian's abilities - his account should be disabled and deleted by WGT to maintain a sense of fairness and transparency.

  I think they should create a Champions tour for WGT totally seperate from the rest of us. Let all the cheaters compete against each other fight over their -18 under scores and let the honest players just have fun. For those that are really good players and just want to have fun they can just sandbag and stay with us.  It may also be a form of cheating but the lesser of two evils lol. I would love to see one of these players computers it must have so much crap stuck to screen you can hardly see the game. So many online losers have to ruin everything cool that comes along for people to have fun with. The game should have a program that can sense a cheat and send out a signal to fry their computers that would help fix the problem.

  Every POV is a valid one, no question.

  Just IMO though Iconian has done nothing wrong here.  I don't care if he is testing, having fun, advertising, having a thrill or plain goofin' or anything else.  I kind of suspected he might get criticised for this,  but IMO wholly unfairly.

  I do think champ chump tier is a great shame the way it's currently looking.  I also have strong reservatons about the validity of the Tour Champion Tier without some guidance as to at least minimum prerequisites...All discussed any way by me that, but Icon with a TC title why care  - JMO.

  I suspect most will be thinking there are more pressing issues anyway :)

  I was probably one of the first 50 or so TL's...you don't see me crying and whining about it.

  Here's the thing Chris..those who come here to play and "cash in", assuming they can, lose the 'fun factor" of playing...many of us just want to play, not dig into our pockets, nor are looking for a gift card.

  Hey, try out those RG's again...less stress, no shot clock, no butthead ranting at you in a chat box....you'd clean up.

  Exactly, Mike. Problem is, these players can't get their parents to push their strollers over that bridge... Lol.

  For anyone that thinks Icon shouldn't be or doesn't have the requisite skill to be a TC...play him in MP/Skins/RR sometime on his original player account...make sure you take a box of tissues for your tears...just sayin'.

  This is merely another case of 'I can't do it, so how can he'. I thought the majority of players here were grown men/women...not 3rd Grade school children; guess I am mistaken. Pathetic.

  What's next; complaining about Icon playing as a female avatar?  Lmao

  All crap until they explain how a 2 day account can shoot a 30 in rtg
